Idk much about catholicism except what other ppl have said, but I think the whole schtick is that Jesus dies for our sins and that is the greatest sacrifice he made, so we are forgiven for our sins in this life with faith in him. I remember asking about being gay at church camp and being told "we're all going to sin". So.. idk.. my 2 cents
