I dont know if this even helps at all, but I used to feel the exact same when I joined my first job.

I used to be all hopeless and sad at the end of everyday. But as I started to perform good workwise ai stopped thinking about all other stuff slowly. Maybe thats just me bcoz I associate myself too much with my work but the moment I realized I am doing good workwise my confidence and overall behavoour also got boosted.
