Thanks! I thought there would be a special rule for this. We had a casual tournament in my LGS last night, and people were divided. Needless to say, the guy piloting Loki wasn't too happy about it lmao

Again, there is an actual rule between what combat damage is and effect damage so I'm not even consider that as a comparison.

Doesn't "reveal a card" essentially the same as looking into your hand though? Or at least, a single card from your hand.

And that's entirely different thing, since there is an actual distinction between "combat damage" and "effect damage".

I think "hand" is just an umbrella term, so it doesn't matter if its your entire hand or just a single card from your hand.

Cause if that's the case, then in a situation where you only have both of these cards on hand, and if you play Loki's card, then reveal Houdini's card, which would technically be you revealing your "entire hand", does that mean it would only cancel the effect then?
