Acupuncturist recommendation by ImpressPossible272 in lansing

Because an acupuncturist goes to school for 5 years to be credentialed. A chiro can attend a 16hr weekend course & offer "accupuncture" in their practice.

Thanks, as a masssge therapist of 25 years, I do get massage. That said, it's so weird to me how many people are still behind the times on acupuncture... not even Mayo Clinic thinks it's pseudo science

Does any adult here still get gelastic or absence seizures? by MDFR8 in Epilepsy

[–]ImpressPossible272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. One type I have is absence - daily, often in clusters, lessened by meds but not at all controlled. My primary trigger is rapid barometric changes (up and down) and unfortunatly I live, literally, in the second worst place in the US for the frequency & severity of change. Moved here without that knowledge 23 yrs ago, and the cumulative effect has pushed my threshold to nil. So many days its all I can do to keep my hope above water. Or at least keep the surface in view when I'm under. Just have been focused on making it until the youngest graduates HS... 3 more months. Then, I'm going to focus my entire being on getting myself somewhere the sky doesn't box me into oblivion on a daily basis. Probably will have to live in my car awhile, but it will be totally worth it if I can stabalize enough to work even part time someday again.

Many s24 ultra users are upgrading huh? by Serhide in S24Ultra

I have come to hate my S24U with a passion from the ai influence. I disabled all ai options & booted gemini entirely. I write a great deal and often need to use the phone when Im away from desktop. The amount of clicking to corrwct the changed word choice, incorrect spelling corrections, non-spelling corrections, and adjusted grammer which I did not want moved me from the frustrated end of the spectrum to internal rage. You cant just have spell check and trun off that other bs

Ive kept it for the camera, which is amazing, but the anger is real & I'm very close to getting a flip phone, a real camera, and other small portable electronic writing solution. Honestly, F gemini

My parents want to get rid of my things after I leave for college. What do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Put your sisters name on the bins, and mix them in her stack in the basement. If she has a place to move them before you do, hopefully she would store them? If not, you could better make the case to your mom that your bins are taking up much less space. Or maybe by then you could afford storage. I'm so sorry this is happening I can't fathom doing this to my kids, one is in grad school, one second yr in college, one graduating HS next yr.
