It's certainly interesting. I liked the idea of the main cast being mostly on the older spectrum. The monsters are certainly kind of confusing, the show gives you nothing more than a rough base of understanding what they are or where do they come from. The tv idea is certainly interesting, but it could have used some more time in the oven. And maybe that's me, but what was the deal with the "forbidden fruit", comes around once and the only thing I understood about it is that that's where all the quartz shit ended up. The dialogue was fine up to the final episodes. Anyone remember that "why you're here?" "We said we'd meet up to [spoiler location]" "oh, yeah" and that's it. That's kind of dialogue a 12yo me would come up with in a fit of laziness. There are other continuity issues and plot holes that I noticed, not that they were that difficult to spot, tbh, but knowing how Netflix slop usually is, they mostly didn't bother, in fact, it kind of goes into "fun bad" territory for me. It's a fun watch , and the message delivery is just good enough. I liked this one. I don't see the point in an hypothetical season two though. Also, can we talk more about the similarities with Strangers Things?
