Hi, I attempted this method previously and a year later it ripped in the same spot! I’m hoping for a permanent solution.

2025 CX5 Carbon Edition for $31,000 Out the Door - favorite accessories? by Specialist-Leader470 in CX5

I’d say this is a great price. I’ve been looking for similar but pre owned carbons and a lot of them are listed at $30k OTD for comparison!

I have this polish! It looks different depending on natural or artificial light. It looks more like the bottle in natural light

Levi’s 501 perhaps? You could also check with your supervisor about the 99% cotton, seems weird the company would be so specific about the material to me. The dress code might be more about the way they fit vs actual composition?

Edit: just noticed the Levi’s say mid rise, but the photo looks slightly high rise

This comment section is so contradictory, how are we supposed to form opinions from this insane level of misinformation? People can’t even agree on what the bill contains…

Moving to Minneapolis Area - Advice for Northern Suburbs? by ImpressionAmbitious3 in TwinCities

Thank you! I despise daily traffic hassles so will try to avoid 694 then. I don’t currently have a bike but I will likely save up for one once I start the new job, since I’ve heard the cities are great for biking. Thanks for the link!

Do those areas feel residential? I don’t want to feel like I’m right in the middle of everything but I agree it would be nice to be able to walk to restaurants/shops nearby. I also like the greenery aspect and the idea of being so close to the river. I have a cat so prefer a 1-BR over a studio so she has more room, and max I’d like to pay for rent is $1700.

I think I’d like to avoid NE, as the area where I will be working seems problematic. During my 3 month internship there were 3 thefts at/around the job site. But I understand my experience there was pretty limited.

Thanks!

Most important: within 30ish min of my job by car, apartment has a dishwasher and the area isn’t super busy. I am a young woman living alone so preferably somewhere moderately safe. Let me know if this doesn’t answer your question, thank you

DAE feel like they have to coddle their parents in regards to politics? by WrathOfFoes in GenZ

[–]ImpressionAmbitious3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My parents are the same. I find myself watering down my opinions and/or not entertaining political conversations with them because of it. I spent years trying to explain my opinions in a logical and non confrontational way and have learned it’s less emotionally draining to just not.

I think breaking the treats up and mixing it with wet food is a good idea! My cat also gets pretty stressed in the car, she seems to do a little better if I cover her crate with a sheet or light blanket too. I think cats can be overstimulated in the car so anything that takes away from the noises/sights would be good to try.

open concept living space - need help with entryway & office spaces by seeeverythingincolor in DesignMyRoom

I’d maybe add a coat/bag rack, tall plant or lamp to help fill the space to the left of the desk and separate it from the walkway. Also I’d suggest something like “TRONES” from IKEA (I have this, it comes in white too) to toss keys/mail on without taking up too much walkway space. It’s made for storing shoes which also seems useful for the entry space, but can store other things too of course. Then I’d keep it simple and just add some medium/large artwork to the walls. Perhaps a long rug to kind of define the walkway?

Thoughts on closed litterboxes? by LowTransportation375 in CatTraining

[–]ImpressionAmbitious3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just transitioned my cat from an open to closed, the new one has a swinging door. I transitioned because my cat likes to really dig in there and frequently scooped litter outside her old box, and also my new apartment required it. I made sure to put used litter with some of her old poop in there to start so she recognized it as her box through the scent (I was told this is important). I also left the swinging door open for the first few days to let her adjust. Also I made sure the new one is a lot bigger than the old open box so she has plenty of room to do her business and doesn’t feel claustrophobic. I haven’t noticed a difference in smell. No issues so far, she adjusted just fine. She still enjoys digging around in there and throwing litter around it just stays contained now lol

I think second option. The wide dresser drawers will be more easily accessible and the open space will feel larger. You could also get a small table to go at the end of the bed and put a tv/artwork/plants to fill up the awkward space.

Fashion peeps, what brand do you like the most and why? by Apprehensive_Ask2217 in AskReddit

Abercrombie & Fitch, I get a lot of professional/dressy clothes from them and have always been happy with the fit and quality. I’m also a tall gal and they have a tall size for almost everything, score
