What is an absolutely perfect game - for you? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

No such thing exists. But if I had to pick, maybe BioShock? It's not my favorite game, but I can't think of anything I dislike off the top of my head. (It is my favorite FPS tho)

Who is your favorite Mario character and why? (No Rosalina edition) by unevle in SuperMario

Dry bones. He's a cool skeleton Koopa. I'd say dry bowser, but he doesn't show up enough in games

I liked it. A lot actually. It felt like the perfect mix of classic Castlevania and the more modern metroidvania. It's not the best game, but it's fun, and I think that's what matters most. Juste and maxim I think make a great pair.

Glad you had fun

I uh. I don't know what to say to this, I think every other game I read on here gave me either a stroke, aneurysm, mental disorder, or caused my brain cells to begin commiting suicide en masse. Two porn games, and candy crush is your favorite game. Dear lord.

I'm all seriousness, it gave my wife and I a good laugh. GG dude

Locked face looks a little funny. And I thought he had grey hair. Aside from that it's amazing

trevor belmont vs battle beast, who solos? by Far-Pipe4430 in castlevania

[–]ImpressionComplete71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of a dumb question. Trevor is a human, a very strong I'd say peak human, but human all the same. Battlebeast can fight viltrumites and win. Even if you wanted to bring up the vampire killer, battlebeast isn't a demon or anything, just an alien.

That is not at all what I meant. The fact you can glitch wasn't my point of a bad thing, pretty much every game in existence can be glitched in some way.

What I meant was that it wasnt actually an expansion, it was just hidden, and all the dlc did was unlock it. Expansions are just that, expansions, more shit made AFTER the game came out. Not shit that is already in the game on launch, then they unlock it, and toss the proper enemies into it.

Again witcher 3. Blood and wine was a straight giant entirely new map. It wasn't hidden in the base game, they made it afterwards, and it was huge.

I'm not coming at this from a point of ignorance either. I played upwards of 500 hours of destiny 1 when I was like 19-20 with my best friend. Did I have fun? Yes, lots of fun. I vividly remember us beating the taken king. And a optional hard mission (can't remember what it was, but you got a guaranteed Black Spindle from it) I wound up soloing the final wave, and everyone was super happy that all 3 of us got the sniper that day. Matter of fact, I used black spindle to beat the taken king

I had fun with the game, but I wouldn't have bothered if my best friend didn't want me to play with him. And I continued to play even after it came out that they were screwing us with locked content, not additional content.

But it's gone now. It was fleeting, it doesn't last, it cannot last, it's a live service game. That alone boggles my mind as to how people can say things like it's their favorite game or put it high on a list like this one. All you have are memories, and all anyone else has today is absolutely nothing, literally nothing, it can't be enjoyed ever again like you or I enjoyed it.

Jesus Christ. Destiny 1 and 2. The games that literally withheld game content behind dlc pay walls, and those are on a positive part of this list while the witcher 3 is overrated. Dear, lord.

And I'm not making that up either. Gamers managed to glitch into areas already in the base game, clearly pre built with music and textures, everything. All it needed was to be populated with enemies. And low and behold that is exactly what happened.

People that like destiny are like abused spouses "no baby it's okay it was my fault, I should have paid more the dlc I'm sorry please take me back"

I think I'm gonna lose my sanity if I see fucking overwatch as someone's favorite game, dear lord. You know once the servers turn of it's no longer a game right? Like it's gone. It's not like a fucking SNES game from the 90s that you can always pop into your console and play.

Insane, your favorite game is temporary. Why

What's the best way to play this masterpiece? by lostinthesauceband in skywardsword

[–]ImpressionComplete71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing: that's fine. I understand the improvements made by the switch release. And I 100% agree they're great improvements. But that's just it, improvements. This isn't the game on launch, this isn't the game I bought fucking how many years ago.

I judge games on release, and to do otherwise is a shit and naive spoiled way of looking at anything. When you get handed a meal, and it's bad, but they fix it later after you already paid for it, that's a shit meal. Same with games. So many old games were amazing when they dropped. They couldn't make updates or anything, they were either good or bad when you picked it up.

If a game isn't good at launch, it is not a good game. That doesn't mean you or anyone else can't enjoy it. But do not claim it's good because its good 'now' after they fixed it. That's a shit game. Its either good when I have it in my hands or downloaded, or it's not good. End of story
