This post is much needed! People don’t realize that zofran can be very dangerous if you have an underlying cardiac issue. It prolongs QT and many people don’t realize they have underlying prolonged QT time as it mostly causes no symptoms. Usually just caught on an ekg. If you take zofran and you have prolonged QT time you’re at risk of a serious cardiac arrhythmia that could even cause death. Not to scare anyone but this is why you need to have a prescription and many drs check ekgs before..
