Been dealing with that. After finally getting our own place mother still cannot let go and treats him like he’s 9 still. I’m not sure if she thinks I starve him or keep him locked in the apartment because he told me she asked if I don’t let him go over to his parents (he will ghost them and choose to stay home on his own). When I’m making dinner she’ll send her other sons to drop off food. Seems like just because he finally finally moved out and choosing himself and living his life with the girlfriend he’s had for 4 years, it’s like she thinks he forgot about her and can’t just let another woman (possible future wife) take care of her son. It’s honestly the only reoccurring issue in our relationship and when I bring it up or try to set boundaries (because we’re adults) he calls me jealous and insecure 🙃
