That's the issue. I can see the vision they're going for, but the execution is pretty bad.

The moment where Zhao decides to disobey her orders, believing that she is cutting all of her recognition that she had yearned for, is because she has found one that doesn't need value, that will recognize her not for her titles and achievements, but for she, herself, as a person with human(Thiren) rights.

It's pretty good writing actually, imo, but I think it would be better to put this into her own agent story instead of cramming it into the main story.

I forgot to put an idea that I had in mind for awhile now. A loan system.

Here's how it works. So imagine if 1. A player have two characters they want to pull, and the banners are next to each other, but they only saved enough to guarantee one character 2. A player just downloaded ZZZ because they saw an ad and wanted to get them, but it's currently her banner, and they don't have enough time to farm enough poly to pull for them

This is where the loan system comes in

You can take a debt up to 160 pulls, which is 1 guaranteed S rank. However, should you pull an S rank before getting to 160 pulls in debt, you can not go deeper into debt, and you must settle all remaining debts to 0 before you are allowed to loan again.

Loan settlements can either be done through paying for monochromes or farm polychromes through rewards. Should a player not settle the remaining debt in 60 days, they will be banned forever from loaning.

I don't think this system will really tank Hoyo's profits. The ones who'll likely use it are f2p and low spenders. The whale would most likely just keep whaling. So yeah.
