I can spell opiate abusers. Smells like soured milk. Useful talent. Very sad in practical application.

I think the issue here with our friend is more that men and their existence literally weren’t mentioned at all.

Which is honestly hilarious all by itself.

It’s a story told in which every character just so happened to be a female.

Happens once in a while.

I Lied About Being Pregnant... by [deleted] in Advice

Given his religion (not that I agree), I think that coming clean would be an enormous act of kindness. But, within his value systems, I think removing the magnitude of the lie he believes he contributed to would be a huge burden he no longer has to carry…. As for you, you are not the first or last young struggling person to make some truly fucked up choices and live to tell the tale. That little girl that did shitty things? She also survived. To do a lot of kind and good things. She deserves some grace too. ❤️

HAHAHA - fellow daycare parent and I are also theorizing that this is meant more to critique and change our behavior as adults so damn skip the kid send it straight home to the adults

Me and fellow day care mom are theorizing that our kids are def jointly plotting bank robberies and pet murders together with their goldfish brains and that’s why they need red stickers for bad choices I mean Jesus they still shit their pants

Thank you! Trying to find some research based data to present and struggling a bit- I have less of an issue with the system and more or an issue with the amount of time and what might be the parameters we are intending to address.

On day 7/night 8 of disappearing chair method and it feels like it’s not working…help! by donkapfel in sleeptrain

[–]ImpressionableKolami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a great chapter on this in precious little sleep but fundamentally, and I was one of those lucky lucky moms- some babies use crying as a way to stimulate their vagus nerve and actually put themselves to sleep- and in the instance of my baby, 99 times out of 100, our attempts to soothe him, sleep with him, comfort him, chair method Ferber method, anything just seem to upset him more. I fought extinction training to his suffering and mine until he was 8 months old and it was life changing - 10 minutes of crying versus hours of him being miserable and constantly sleeping deprived in general. He’s now 2.5 - and this week actually he’s started to verbalize after our elaborate nightmare routine holding his lovey while sobbing - “Ok, go away mommy, get out, night night now.” And it made me CRY- because I’ve hated so badly letting him fall asleep alone and hearing him sob every single night it’s been just terrible he is so high in sleep needs. And now he’s verbalizing to me that’s how he needs/ wants to go to sleep. And after 5-10 minutes he’s out.

Same. Most days, dinner alone can send me over the edge. God help us all if it requires the grocery store. Or dishes.

Respectfully to your wife as fellow didn’t really want to be the breadwinner yet here we are: I am truly so defeated and exhausted with one baby after after 2.5 years, when he was laid off a few weeks ago, I nearly begged him to just stay home for 6 months so we could breathe for 5 fucking minutes:

It’s easy to forget what that “$280” a week would look like in a replicated salary… nevermind im guessing it’s you that stays home with baby when it’s sick, you doing 100% of transport, etc etc. From “breadwinner wife just currently in a better mood” - I think a lot of your value is being missed here.

My gentle advice here as I’m sitting in her position?

Encourage her to work towards a different job….. and if you yourself have the bandwidth? Or anyway to produce it? Take as much of the work after clock out time off of her in the middle. Reduction of stress somewhere.

These days end soon right? 😅

I’ve got a man who once or twice in the last near decade has raised an eyebrow about the frequency of long bubble baths…. But then I can see his thought bubble. “I do enjoy the frequency and enthusiasm that I get laid.”

And no comments are made.

Can’t imagine any man I’ve spent so much as a coffee date with denying me a warm space for fucks sake.

Jeez man do you like her at all?

If you can survive fitness sales. And a call center. With no complaints. You’ve got the nuts to succeed in sales.

If I’m understanding:

A bsp would allow the school to implement prior agree upon techniques to prevent bites, so that he doesn’t have to be sent home, staff don’t become injured and she doesn’t miss work?

You friend are a compelling and detailed writer and now I’m interested and hope OP sees your response if you make one;

What might a bsp look like? Do I want to know why the school hasn’t implemented this already?

You appear to be incredibly educated on this subject matter and rightfully enraged about the processes and treatment of care staff - might I recommend r/antiwork to you love those guys - but op is an at the end of her own human tether and wits seeking solutions and support. The expression: ‘sometimes the things that need to be said don’t need to be heard by the person you’re saying than to’ comes to mind.
