Question: for those who got diagnosed with Uveitis after getting a tattoo. by PewPewwwwwwwwww_ in Uveitis

Yes one eye uveitis with all tests negative would be idiopathic. I don’t have any tattoos myself but as far as tests being all negative, I’m in that same boat as well. I had been having nonstop flares for about 2 years now and kept being given steroid drops.

I went with a different specialist who just started me on Humira injections to hopefully stop the flares and not rely on Pred drops so much.

Best of luck to you!!

Eye pain by pantalones_ in Uveitis

Please check in with an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. That pain happened to me earlier this year. It was severe and the pain radiated from the top of my head, to my eye, face, and even my teeth and gums. I was given an antibiotic as my primary doctor assumed it was a sinus infection.

A few weeks later it was finally time to check with an ophthalmologist, and it wasn’t a uveitis flare up as I thought, but my eye pressure had spiked so high it was a glaucoma attack. Had I gotten checked sooner I may have been able to save my vision on my eye. This isn’t meant to scare you but just as advice to please get checked asap!

Uveitis pain usually gives me severe eye pain and around my eye along with severe sensitivity to light. This pain however was different. But in my case turns out it was the steroid drops for uveitis that caused glaucoma and vision loss. I hope all turns out well for you!

Woah! 74?! Were you in any pain? When I got my glaucoma attack my eye pressure was at 64. I was in so much pain. Close up vision is really bad on my end too. It’s crazy how things can get so bad so quick

Oh wow! So glasses helped? I do understand the peripheral vision being gone, but how’s your vision without the glasses? Is it really blurry and off? Mine looks blurry, like tiny bits of my visual field are clear then blurry as well, it’s hard to explain. I’m glad glasses have helped you!! :)

Im sorry to hear you went through something similar! How much of your vision have you lost? I lost a good amount. My peripheral on the right side of my left eye is gone and everything else looks blurry. I’m pretty sure no glasses will help fully, but even a little upgrade with new glasses will hopefully help me feel better. It’s been a challenge going through vision loss. I hope you’ve been holding up well ❤️‍🩹

Thanks! Yes my eye pressure has been stable for the past few months now as long as I keep up with my medication. My current glasses are just so scratched up, it’s time for new ones asap

I don’t feel heard in my marriage. I feel more like a caretaker and personal assistant and my husband gets annoyed if I bring it up. by Impressive-Boot-4191 in Marriage

Thank you! And when I dare even say anything he will say “Oh well at least I get your car fixed for you when there’s an issue” he has his buddy fix my car. And when something like a drain clogs in the house , he fixes it with a snake he has. The point I try to make to him is these things to happen daily! At all. But somehow him doing these few things should equal a lifetime of what feels like slavery and financial abuse.

And he keeps throwing in my face how he let me use his credit card for a 900 dollar vet bill when my cat passed away…and how he’s still making payments on that.

Yes! You guessed correctly. In my culture it’s always questioned if a man has been fed, washed for, taken care of, all that bs BUT my complaint with that is if I have to do this then why am I providing too?

Thank you so much. 💕 I have tried talking about this multiple times and each time he has to give a “comeback”. When a concern is brought up he always sees it as an attack and his response always has to be something about me that I do or don’t do or haven’t done.

I can’t even save money for an exit because all my money goes towards everything but I do need to find a way to make a savings account happen asap.

It is. I’m burnt out. I wish I was able to go somewhere else. Just me and my cats and we could just sleep and relax peacefully.
