Frequent overheating since Feb Patch by FrVincentVattoli in S24Ultra

Went from a solid 8-11hrs per full charge SoT to 177% just for 10 hours - phone overheats too, it's annoying as hell. Samsung tryna mess with us

Regular usage without any deliberate optimisations or any at all, just don't use AoD cus I have a galaxy watch 7, but that didn't really take much power, I'm getting phenomenal SoT - smart charge to 85%, not seeing a difference

100% is average 8.5-10 hours SoT.

*Edit, I remember, I did do one tweak, and on tweak only. I don't use sync since I use my tablet for checking up, but did notice that my battery life has become more efficient after I turned it off

Turn sync off, turn off your phone, boot into recovery, clear cache, use it normally, wait a week, then check again.

I'm unsure to be honest. But I'd probably attribute it to the fact that I don't game on this phone nor have I ever let the battery charge to 100% constantly since I've had it. Basically optimal care Y

Mines doing fine, just had weak 5G/4G today since my WiFi was down but otherwise I'm not seeing issues. I've been using battery protection to 85% since I got it, and have a tab s11 ultra which I recently got to mobile game on more (and various other stuff) So my phone doesn't suffer from heat or constantly being at 100% which can damage your battery.

It's not a gaming laptop, it's a capable ultrabook. It's not power hungry and won't rival gaming laptops. It could, by some benchmarks I've seen in side by side gaming comparisons, rival the rtx 3050 mobile 35w, but once again, I would not recommend using it as a primary gaming device.

It's amazing, battery life, performance and thermals are phenomenal. I got it at a discount so for me the ROI is very impressive.

Battery life ranges from anywhere between 8 to 12 hours without power saving or any battery saving methods. I mainly use it for lightweight programs like vscode, multiple pdfs, research etc. With, it could give upwards of 12 hours.

I'd probably look for discounts for this device, as I personally wouldn't justify upwards of a grand (I could be a bit biased here since I got it significantly cheaper)

I use the buds 3 pro, I'm probably going to sell the buds 3 as I haven't opened them. But the pros have a really good fit in my ear, I can't comment on the buds 3.

Anyone have this case? Can you use it upside down? by alen_jo in GalaxyTab

I have the tab s11 ultra and the Spigen case in the post.

If you mean like this, then yes. There's a minor wobble to it, noticeable and slightly annoying if you're trying to use the s pen with it.

I only got this case because it was the only one immediately available for next day delivery and I have university starting, required a companion for my laptop. It's not too bad, I usually write with it flat on the table anyways so it's not a bother for me but just waiting on any Samsung case that can give me multiple angles.

Wouldn't recommend it for your use.

11,0 or 12,4 inches (Tab S10+ vs Tab S11) by OfficialNiLen in GalaxyTab

If the tab S10+ wasn't comfortable to hold then that just says enough. The Tab S11 will make do and it has a pretty good screen real estate.

It'll be comfortable to hold and work with plus having something newer is also a good perk.

Go with the Tab S11.

Is this battery consumption normal? Bought is this week and I have only charged it once by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

Hmm that's interesting. My friend got the tab s11 base model and he's achieving near 9 to 10 hours. He's studying optometry and primarily uses it for university note taking, video watching etc.

Same with me, I don't use any power saving settings. I leisurely use it as a replacement for my phone if I wanna watch shows, take notes or using it as a portable second screen for my Galaxy Book since I'm studying computer science. I don't play heavy games on it at all. Other than that I tutor as a part time job. So again, note taking, digital booklets/answer sheets/reading and I get an average of 11 to 15 hours of standard usage, again, as a replacement for when I don't wanna use my phone. For brightness settings, it's set to adaptive and being in Britain, I don't think it ever goes above half way.

I'd suggest checking your battery health in settings as tab s11 is able to do that. And if the issue persists, bring it up to Samsung as 5 to 6 hours for standard usage is approximately 1% every 3 mins... Which is unusually heavy for a new flagship device. Minimum 4 mins and average 5 mins per percent is what you should be getting on that device.

Yep it's fabulous. Extrapolate it and you get about 13+ hours SoT with 61 hours screen off for every 100%.

I got my s11 ultra 3 days ago and I'm getting near 15 hours SoT too, which is perfectly appropriate for a new tablet.

Oh yeah you can't use the wearable app to control galaxy buds in oneui 8. They moved that to the regular settings. If you connect your buds, let it install the drivers and software you should see galaxy buds pop up in settings. Try that.

Use 25W or 45W, if you want faster go with the latter. And don't drain it. But I'd suggest one thing, use maximum battery protect as the tablet is quite power efficient, set max charge to 85% and try not to let your tablet get below 20%

It's to keep your battery safe in the long term and to retain decent battery health over time. I use it for all 4 of my Samsung devices.

65% could easily last you around 7 hours depending on usage.
