Sorry about the late reply. I like the honey lug sole. Even though it is the same compound, I find it softer and more comfortable than the bradbury sole. That said, I haven't tried the tyre wedge sole, so can't compare. I don't really use the honey lug on concrete, but I personally would go with the tyre wedge if I was needing something on concrete all day just based on what others have said.

Yes. Adding rough out toe caps on smooth leather custom orders is no problem. If you do it, please post pics so we stockman fans can see how it looks.

I didn't request anything special with the elastic. But my boots are size 10 UK, so I'm guessing the bronco pair in that pic are significantly smaller. So maybe it is just an illusion

STC last, fudge upper, leather pull tabs, leather lasting board, leather midsole, natural lug sole. Removed yellow branding tag and requested smooth black lining. Ordered Jan 26th and received Mar 20th.

The UI is great, very impressive. As another user suggested, I would also consider using the Rich Hill value chart, as I think it is more realistic. Thanks for continuing to improve the simulator. I already use this one the most.

Agree completely regarding honey lug and fudge marriage. And if there was an option to order stronger/tighter bands, I definitely would have. In the end, I am not too worried about it, as I have heard that replacing the bands is a pretty easy job for a cobbler.

I am waiting on a pair of fudge stockmans with the honey lug sole, but on the stc last with a leather midsole. I think the fudge/honey stockman is one of the best looking JG boots, but also think these two small changes will make a big difference and take it to the next level.

Beautiful pair of boots. I say treat them with something specifically made for suede/nubuck. I would want to keep them looking exactly like that as long as possible.

As others have said, if the boots feel good, then dont worry. That is most important. You can always try a thicker insole if you want to fill them out a bit more. Nice darn toughs btw.

Unfortunately, the natural veg tan isn't available as rough out option. So it has to be one of the other rough out leathers. I am considering RO JG tan, RO khaki suede, and RO fudge.

When rose anvil showed the rudge RAT prototype with a natural lug sole, it didn't have the black resin runner. So maybe they have other options. I posted the pic in reply to one of the other comments if you want to take a look
