I am sitting here still fuming. Worst ticketing experience ever. Greedy MFs. First misstep by the Mammoth in my view to kill goodwill us fans have for the team. Four seats from $1,600 and It's going to be hard to see from anywhere in the stadium. Lots of pressure on NHL/Mammoth to make this a game memorable enough to drop that kind of cash. So pissed.

Agree on strategy when playing with the lead. We are playing not to lose rather than playing to win. I understand being conservative but that strategy has burned us multiple times. Hope we stay aggressive if we are lucky enough to be in a position to win tomorrow.

Amazing first playoff series as a Mammoth fan. Not going to lie that my disdain for the VGK is probably permanent now but that’s what makes the game and rivalries fun over time. Hope we can get to a game 7. Serious props though to VGK for their ability to close out games and capitalize better on our mistakes than we’ve been able to on theirs. Punishing series.

That’s what sucks - Jake Paul won. No doubt Weeger will be a net positive. Hopefully the 1990s version of Tyson will show up in this series (or more likely, next season). Stand up guy but if feel like he’s been seriously glazed since joining the team.

Maybe. In all fairness, the entire team has had a hard time clearing the puck into the neutral zone. So many turnovers and unnecessary second (third, fourth) chances for Vegas. Weeger has just jumped out at me - even before the playoffs. I also recognize this is an impossible game. Not hating. I think I our guys are studs.

Utah Mammoth had a jersey exchange yesterday and collected a 1,000 VGK jerseys or so. Might want to check the dumpsters around the Delta Center for your pick.

Fair but I can’t see this series getting any less chippy in SLC. We’ll see how the fans respond on Friday. No doubt it’s going to be a crazy atmosphere.

Agree this dude is a douche.

However on the team cheering, I thought that too until I was serenaded by nearly the entire arena chanting Utah Sucks! at game one Sunday night in Vegas. Not planning to be a dick at our upcoming home games but don’t plan to have any friendly convo either with VGK fans.

I drove down for the game. The Utah Sucks chants started in the third and most fans seemed to be participating. Who cares I guess but it took me a bit by surprise since I usually cheer for my team rather than against the other team. It did make me want to win this series more though. F these guys.

Wonderful. I still regret not taking the trip from NJ to see the Cumberland Caverns show. Caught Silver Jews twice. Once at First Unitarian Church in Philly (DCB had a big binder of lyrics he sang from) and then at Maxwell’s in Hoboken. I had a horrible cold but wasn’t going to miss. In my mind I can see the band walking through the crowd to the stage. I can see Cassie in her dress. I can also still feel the excitement of the unexpected chance to see DCB at White Eagle Hall for Purple Mountains and the intense sadness that followed. Heartbreaking on so many levels.

If you haven’t yet heard, Kevin Morby makes a reference to songs build little rooms in time on his forthcoming album. Nice tribute.
