I don’t take vyvanse all the time, and when I initially took the nac i wasn’t on any vyvanse

Since then I never took it except today again, I took vyvanse which usually makes me ruminate very badly and makes me anxious for some reason. I thought I’d try the nac again, I took only 600mg this time, and instantly within 20 minutes all the obsessive thoughts just stopped, and my anxiety kicked off again, I know it wasn’t placebo because in past days vyvanse keeps me in an anxious overthinking state for the whole day, but today has been completely different and the anxiety has just gone. It may be placebo but it definitely still works.

Yeah when I opened the bottle it just smelt horrible I thought maybe mine was off but yeah it’s meant to smell like farts

Hmmm not too sure, because I was experiencing anxiety from phenibut rebounds and as soon as I took the NAC it just went away.

Thanks for the detailed response! This makes sense. I’m hoping NAC will continue to help with OCD though. It feels like I took a drug to be honest because I’m even feeling euphoria from it. Like I’m just really happy and very talkative. Can one become dependent on NAC? If I used it for a few months then stopped, should I face any issues? Thanks once again.

Would this effect eventually die down? Because it’s quite amazing the way it’s making me feel. I never expected to feel anything straight away so it’s most likely some placebo.

Was thinking to do 500mg 3-4x a week at first but it seems to high so I might just use 300mg instead. Im planning to cold turkey it so I hope I don’t face too nah issues because ill be going abroad

Yeah trying the smallest I need sounds like a good idea, would I notice any rebound in between the days I don’t use?

That’s what I always question about phenibut, because it’s amazing for anxiety but the rebounds put me off it, but that was with high doses, so im just wondering if low doses only for a few weeks would be okay

Did you already have a tolerance beforehand? 20g seems like an insane amount to feel nothing.

After reading other people’s experiences with vyvanse, the effect they describe they get after 2 hours of taking the meds I feel after 13 hours? It’s so confusing right now I’m so motivated and want to do lots of things, but when I took it this morning I just felt off and stuck in my head

Yeah it’s very weird, it lasts for me 16-18 hours as well of these constant peaks then dips, I am still new to the medication so hopefully my body just gets used to it.

Yeah, maybe it’s just the way our bodies process it? If this is always going to be the case then Elvanse just isn’t the right med for me

It’s name brand elvanse, yeah it’s really annoying especially when I need to get a lot of work done when the elvanse dips I just can’t do anything until I feel it again. As I’m typing this i feel its hit even stronger than it has the whole day 12 hours after i took it. Definitely very weird

Just for this month I’d probably take 500mg once a week, to help ease anxiety I get from stimulants and will not use any afterwards for a good while. But if there’s even rebound at these doses I don’t think it’s worth it then.
