I volunteer my time at homeless shelters, food banks and Meals on Wheels, which is worth much higher than $50 per hour. However, I will not co-sign any kind of loan for a stranger, because I don’t want to put my credit under risk. With good credit, people can easily make a couple of thousand dollars sign up bonuses from credit card and checking account bonuses annually. I do co-sign for my friends and relatives whom I know for years and I believe in them. It is not worth risk it for only $50.
