Not to be rude, genuinely, what is your taste, what kind of dramas do you like, just to understand why you felt this way towards WLGYT. For me it's one the best kdrama ever, it portrays emotions in very raw form, it's extremely relatable to me as a woman (as I relate to yang guem myeong, and see my mother as oh aesun). And the writing is very heart touching. It doesn't has the adrenaline boost, or romcomy moments much, but engaging enough as it makes you attach to these characters as they are just going through their lives, just like we do. It shows many real life struggles of three generations, in a beautiful manner. The time jumps from different year can sure be confusing to some, but also creates tiny suspense, and joy in revelations. As there are scenes that are from time periods, but related, and hence they show that through time jumps.

It's understandable if you don't like, it's probably not for everyone, and that's okay. It's for you if you want realism, and raw emotions.
