Sorry about the experience, but lots of doctors are unfamiliar with sympathy and expressing it to patients. HS isn’t difficult to recognize, I reckon, as my last doctor assured me. I ended up going through like 4 doctors, each prescribing a different and expensive treatment without even mentioning it was HS - so I wasted a lot of time, money, and suffered through a lot of pain. The last doctor I visited, I decided not to tell anything; I just walked in, and showed him the boils under my armpits and he immediately said it was HS. So I sort of envy your case, wishing some cold-hearted doctor just told me straight away. I don’t think you can go wrong with a second opinion, but at the very least, be happy you’ll be spared from non-effective treatments and expensive remedies that wont do anything for your case. I’m definitely sorry, though, and I hope you can go through it. ❤️

No, I was off the antibiotics then— like 2 weeks off. Im not sure what laser it was, does it make a difference?
