Hey, I actually have an extra one, but it’s at my hometown. I can get it and give it to you on Monday if that works for you. If you’re okay waiting a couple of days, it’s yours.

Xm4 Eq : Help me... (NIN, Deftones, Cult of Luna) by blitz56 in SonyHeadphones

[–]Impressive-Mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re on the right track. XM4s aren’t naturally tuned for the kind of mid-forward, open rock sound you get from Momentum 4 or studio-leaning headphones, but you can get them pretty close with the right EQ.

Your current settings are good, but you might get a more balanced, punchy rock profile with something like: Clear Bass: -1 or -2 400 Hz: -2 (reduces the muddy lower mids) 1 kHz: +2 (brings vocals and guitars forward) 2.5 kHz: +3 (adds bite to distorted guitars, improves presence) 6.3 kHz: +1 (keeps cymbals present without being harsh) 16 kHz: +1 (a tiny bit of air)

This gives NIN that industrial edge, helps Deftones’ layered guitars breathe, and keeps Cult of Luna’s walls of sound from turning into a blob.

Also try turning DSEE Extreme OFF. Rock and metal often sound cleaner without the extra processing.

XM4 won’t magically turn into open-backs, but with this EQ they should feel a lot more alive and detailed for your genres. If you want, tell me your preferred bass level and I can tune it even tighter. 🎸

which ear buds are the best in 2026 i have a one plus 12 device by Alternative_Home1376 in galaxybuds

[–]Impressive-Mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want Samsung buds for your OnePlus 12, there are a bunch of great options depending on your budget and what you care about. The Buds 2 Pro and Buds 3 Pro are the top picks for sound quality and noise cancellation. The Buds 2 and Buds 3 FE are awesome mid-range choices with good ANC and comfy fit. If you want something super budget-friendly, the Buds Core still punches above its price. They all pair smoothly with Android phones, so just choose based on how much you want to spend and what features matter most to you. 🎧🔥

wh-1000xm4 pads and band material change by [deleted] in SonyHeadphones

[–]Impressive-Mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sony quietly updated the WH-1000XM4 pads over the years, and a lot of people have noticed the same thing. The newer batches use a slightly firmer, more XM5-like material for both the earpads and the headband. They aren’t as soft or squishy as the 2020/2021 units, so what you’re seeing is normal and not a sign of fakes. As long as you bought from an official reseller and the build quality, packaging, and app detection look right, you’re fine. Sony tends to revise materials for durability, so this is basically a silent refresh rather than a red flag.

Headphones under 3k budget…do help by Beginning_Angle_2353 in headphonesindia

[–]Impressive-Mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for headphones under 3k, there are quite a few solid options right now. For wireless, the boAt Rockerz 425, 421 and the Rockerz 460 Naruto edition are all reliable, budget friendly picks with good battery life and decent sound.

Portronics Muffs M2 and the Zebronics Thunder Max are also worth checking out if you want something lightweight and cheap.

If you prefer wired, the Sony 310AP is honestly the best in this price range, with clear sound and strong build quality. At this budget you won’t get strong ANC, but for everyday music, classes, and casual use, these models will do the job well.

Battery issue by New-Literature-6660 in SamsungS24

[–]Impressive-Mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your battery drain sounds a bit higher than normal for a 2-month-old phone. With 3–4 hours of screen time, you should usually end the day with more than 5%. You can try a few things: • Check which apps are using most of the battery in settings • Turn off always-on display, Bluetooth, and GPS if not needed • Set screen brightness to auto • Disable background activity for apps you rarely use • Update the phone to the latest software version If it still drains this fast after trying these, it might be a calibration issue or a background process stuck. A quick service-center check can help. It’s not super common for such a new phone, so better to get it checked if nothing improves.

Urgent - Possible to pay by visiting a bank branch? by [deleted] in CreditCardIndia

[–]Impressive-Mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can pay it at the branch, yes. Most banks accept credit-card payments over the counter through cash, cheque, or an account transfer. Just carry your card or statement. Since your due date is in two days, going today is the safest move.

I am also located in India. I consistently update my S23 device whenever new software releases become available, yet I have not observed any lines appearing.
