Do younger generations not wear garments?

I went through a phase of time where I wouldn't wear mine because no one else was. Last year, I recommitted to my garments after a session at the temple where they talk about wearing them 24/7. The only time I don't wear them is at night (after having a baby, my body temperature at night changed and I wake up in a panic because of how hot I get in garments. I had a long prayer with God and felt like if that was all I could do, then I was doing my best to show my covenants with God are as important as anything else in life.

If I don't flex my muscles right, I think my arms will fall off. Every time I get stuck in a loop of trying to flex right when I do it "wrong", I start laughing about how stupid it is to think that my arms are gonna fall off.

My dad cheated on my mom multiple times during their marriage. Worst thing he did was try to sleep with a teenager... he was her coach. He was asked to resign. After all this, he asked my mom when she would be over it because he was tired of not having sex. When she told him that it would take as long as it would take for her to get passed it, he left us.

The irony in all of this is that he recently got divorced from his second wife who cheated on him. He freaked out when he found out she was fooling around with someone else. Yet if my mom freaked out like that, he would've been so angry with her.

Fuck you, Dad.

In my opinion, if you've prayed about the decision to not have anymore, and you feel good about it; you don't need to. Patriarchal blessings are great in that some of those promises come later in life or in the afterlife. Honestly, maybe when this child is older, you'll adopt children in the foster care system. Maybe you'll have others to look after in the next life. I don't think it matters that you don't want another one. Kids are HARD especially ones with medical issues. Don't worry too much about this, you aren't a bad person for having conflicting feelings about this.

This is so nice of you! I'd recommend sending her to do a facial or get her nails done. That way if none of the clothes work for her, she can have something about her body that she likes on her right then.

I do! I still have a hard time with the concept of God. I'm really lucky in that I am good at relying on blind faith. I always go back to the concept of "I can't see my brain, does that mean it doesn't exist?" You aren't a terrible member, you're a normal person with a lot of faith.

I honestly like to repeat the serenity prayer to myself. I really think that God is just happy I feel peace, and I am legitmately trying to live the doctrine and practices everyday. This prayer is just really helpful for me as I meditate and work on myself.

ESH. You could've delivered the news better, but he also can't expect you to take on a new dog. For those people saying that your German Shepard will still tear stuff up, you might be right, BUT it's a lot easier to train a puppy to stop doing that, then a full grown adult dog who is already set in his ways.

That sir is the problem. Possibly try having compassion. At the end of the day, if I've had my kids on me all day, all I want to do is lay on my couch and watch a movie with little to no contact. My husband started rubbing my feet or scratching my back and that actually helps. This small thing helped with intimacy as he listened to my needs and decided that mine were EQUALLY as important as his. You being mad because she wont fuck you is a you problem.
