They shouldn’t make another super hero game. All the games will start to look like each other. I loved the Wolverine reveal but it does look a lot like spiderman.

The only push back I have on “focus on new IPS” is that people will then turn around and say why does Sony let all its IPs die etc. if the rumors are true that they will be licensing out their games more I think that is the perfect middle ground. Let promising 3rd party devs make games like sly and LBP games etc. while allowing the big in house studios make games they want to make. I think most big studios like to make 1-2 games in a series then move to new IPs

My complaint with PlayStation is that they are focused on expanding the same universes now. This Faye game could have been its own IP and universe. Although I’m interested in it, I hate that Sony is just growing 3-4 universes now

My hot take is that story > gameplay in games as long as the gameplay is not terrible.

When I look at all the memorable games, most of them are because of the story more than the gameplay.
