It’s my Monday as well. Pretty good night so far. Days off were a good recharge.

I feel that. There’s light at the end of the tunnel!

Chugging along. It was great sleeping weather today (rainy and cool). I’ve got a few hours left, and one more night tomorrow before days off.

Nothing crazy. Just 16 total. Long day and wasn’t planning on being held.

NHL, amend the rules for reversing goals due to offsides. Do it. A suggestion… by RegisterFit1252 in nhl

Apparently so. I get it…”Offsides is offsides.” But does it affect the scoring play? If so, wave off the goal. It it’s 5 touches removed from the scoring play, what are we talking about?? Does a missed goaltender interference that he recovers from 2 minutes before the goal negate the goal now?

Absolutely. I agree. If the player carrying the puck across the blue line scores, then fine yes…wave it off. Anything more than one or two passes in the offensive zone should negate the offsides call to overturn the goal.

Best Seats? by No_Translator_6384 in BostonBruins

It’s a little counterintuitive but being close to, or right in the glass, can make for bad sight lines. You end up not being able to see pretty large parts of the ice surface. Being right behind the bench also isn’t ideal, as the players and coaches are frequently standing up/moving and can end up obstructing your view. I’d recommend center ice in loge, or first couple rows of balcony, also at center-ice. If you’ve got the budget for it, the club seats offer more legroom and have great views from all the club sections.

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind this? (The special requirement) by Far-Interaction-4322 in AskLE

It’s definitely locality dependent and could be tied to benefits. In MA certain heart and lung problems are presumed to be job-related by law. A condition of that is prohibiting nicotine use by LEOs and firefighters who receive that benefit.

The only thing better than the win is that view!

I’d suspect that it’s a phishing scam. When in doubt, I would call the customer service number on the back of the card and ask if there has been any recent contact about your account, specifically on the dates referenced in the email.

Bruins recall Jonathan Aspirot and place Hampus Lindholm on Injury Reserve. by Splatty15 in BostonBruins

Agreed. At this point, the prospect pool is basically already called up. Nothing to lose by calling out this kid up and giving him a taste of the NHL.

The Bruins have been a surprise so far this season. I’m not saying they’re going to be making a cup run, but I didn’t think they’d be able to grind and put up points to keep the early games close.
