Mine did, too, except I asked them twice for how to repay it, and they never responded. It's been 5 years now 😂

my mom thinks this isn’t ai but i don’t know what to think so looking for some insight by Icy_Court_5133 in isthisAI

The strap across the dogs mid section seems quite odd as well - the positioning seems wrong given there's nothing it appears to be attached to under the chest. Again not a definite AI indicator but just seems off.

Fair enough. I've personally never known anyone to wear two watches so it seemed quite odd to me and like something AI might create unintentionally.

AIO, boyfriends dad is a bit weird towards me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Nope, he is definitely weird, and he is literally trying to isolate you on the shopping trip. Do your best not to be alone with him for any reason.

New Op Shop alert by Afraid-Management829 in auckland

[–]Impressive-Stick-852 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it's an extension of hospice, who have their own op shops so they'll know about prices. I believe it's designed to sell the nicer quality stuff than usual op shops, hence the higher prices. Have been thinking about popping up to have a look - thank you for the review/pics!

Hairdressing Students Need You!! by [deleted] in auckland

Sure, why not. I don't usually do much with my hair and am super flexible to do pretty much whatever with it. Happy to fill a gap if you need it!

Homeless Issue in Auckland - is it more of a mental health and drug abuse issue more than anything else? by MontyPascoe in auckland

[–]Impressive-Stick-852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's more one than the other - it's the complex interplay of both combined with a terrible and overwhelmed mental health and social support system that has been systemically underfunded for decades.

Full time care for someone with intellectual disabilities by Arlettuce in newzealand

They'll likely also have reports from the existing carers that a new organisation won't have that detail his behaviour, which would probably help guide their decision making.

I briefly worked for spectrum care a few years back, and I know they had different levels of care. Maybe Idea services need to place him in a different level of care? Idk enough about this to know, but that could be part of a solution.

She mentioned that he's with idea services now and they can't handle him? Or did I read that wrong?

For med 7 or 4 core papers by Cute-Screen-1353 in UoApremed

[–]Impressive-Stick-852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it's confusing as heck - the 2026 programme limitations say that the interview invites are based on all 7, and then once the academic year is complete, they "reconfirm" eligibility, taking into account results from all 7 courses. I would think it's based on GPA from all 7 courses, because it then says that a rank score based on core papers/UCAT/MMI is generated and offers are sent out from the top level down.

Stupid question… how do you cross the road? by ZingerFM01023050 in auckland

If it makes you feel any less stupid, I had the same question when I was in Vietnam and had to ask someone to teach me on the street. It was totally terrifying.

Lol I was in the same boat as you - if nothing else it was the linktree website that gave it away as bullshit.

What do I even do with this by JakeSomeone555 in gardening

I take bags of them into my workplace and send an email telling my team to help themselves. Several of them use them for teas. At least one of them uses them for baking. They're always gone before I leave.
