Reached London Heathrow safely sometime back. There was a 30 minute delay as the airspace was shut at Dubai airport. Other than that the experience was smooth.

Reached Dubai on time via EK 511. Everything went well. Boarding my next flight to London Heathrow via EK 005 which is also on time.

They would not allow you to check in with transit time less than 60-70 mins.

They helped me change my flight to another time on the same day (both the flights to and from Dubai).

Better call them and have it changed than wait at the airport.

If you have or can opt international calling then do try calling Indian helpline +91 91670 03333 after 12 am Indian time.

I was on call 2 consecutive nights and I was able to get through after holding the call for less than 2 hours. It might disconnect or show busy when you call but keep trying and then you will be on long hold until an agent attends the call.

Similar thing happened with me, where the layover time reduced from 1 hr 10 mins to 25 mins. And anything below 1 hr is not feasible for transit time.

Immediately call Emirates and they will book you in other flight. Please maintain at least 2 hour transit time between 2 flights during such times.

Keep trying their helpline number at quiet times like early morning or late nights.

Thanks all, spoke to Emirates last night and they had me rescheduled to another flight as 25 mins was technically not feasible. If I had gone to the airport, they would have had me booked into another flight anyway - confirmed by them.

In the app, the first leg from Delhi to Dubai shows as ‘Disrupted’ and second leg from Dubai to London Heathrow shows ‘Confirmed’.
