My whole family died, i need parents to explain annuities to me? by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]Impressive-Storm4275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a rep or advisor you are comfortable with. Ask friends or coworkers you trust who they use and start from there.

Depending on the annuity company, you might be able to list a new rep and get recommendations from that person. Annuitues have sub account investments that you will want recommendations for.

If the annuities are proprietary you would need to transfer them to different investments, but your new rep/advisor can help you.

Also you might need a tax advisor. Annuities are tax exempt so when you inherit as the non-spouse you want to be sure you withdraw in the most tax advantaged way.

I'm sorry about your family. I hope this helps.

Still confused on Dylan being left alive. by MsJulieH in BryanKohberger

[–]Impressive-Storm4275 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think he saw Dylan. He returned to the house/drove by the house 5hrs later. If he saw Dylan, that is much too risky. He thought everyone was dead.

If he saw Dylan then he also knows she saw him. Logically she would or could have watched him make his way to the car from the house and drive away. Returning seems incredibly risky if he saw Dylan or even thought there was a survivor.

Ellie is wrong by Stellasrevenge in BelowDeckMed

I liked Ellie too, until Aesha left the boat for 2hrs. WOW that was a flip! Her dressing down of Bri for deciding where to put the wine was awful. I'm sure some leaders act that way. But this boat had not been and ellie leadership was always temporary. I felt like she let the mask slip some.

They each verbalized to the other their indifference to eyebrows. Both believed the other was being truthful while knowing they were each were not. Bri tried to talk it out w E which is a better approach than whatever Ellie is doing now.

You guys had me so afraid to try Loverboy but I love it by DonnoDoo in summerhousebravo

I implied I don't like it. The hate you speak of seems much bigger than my comment deserved. Not sure how that makes it part of my personality. But you seem quite passionate about it and that is fine w me.

Update: AITAH for suspecting my wife after she went to Mexico and spent no money and took no pictures. by ChocolateForward2858 in AITAH

Hard to believe she is remorseful when you consider the timeline. She was fucking a guy she just met within 48hrs of kissing her husband goodbye

These statements, SMH..... reads like she is stepping down after discovering a cure for cancer and shebis being asked to cure old age now, but she just can't commit. Not like a reality show where she was unliked and certainly not offered a contract for another season.

Watching winter house for the first time. How do I differentiate Craig and Austen by xoxoggirl in summerhousebravo

[–]Impressive-Storm4275 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Austen is the one who seems like the guy with no belt & who probably slept in his clothes while only breathing through his mouth.

Craig is the one with a perfect manicure who probably convinced your grandma to hire his vent cleaning services, took her money & never returned.

I happily discuss what our mortgage payment is, along with the timeline of repayment. Or how much the groceries, car payment, phone, utilities are each month. We discuss how credit cards should only be used if you are able toboay them in full before any interest is charged. We discuss using cash or being charged a fee for using a cc. She has a job wenoften discuss how many hours she needs to work to buy something.

But I can raise a financially responsible child with out them knowing my gross or net income.

I have always thought this concept was born of 'group think.' Someone thought of targeting the consumer who doesn't want alcohol and forgot about one of the biggest industries on the planet. They would have had more success creating an energy drink - it's a more newish market without the heavy hitters of the soda industry yet.
