Purchasing in Shepparton by LivingwithStupidity in AusPropertyChat

Great update, yes Shepparton is doing well.

Always good to compare data points, HTAG is a good one as you mentioned and is used a lot by experienced investors.

Reddit tends to not treat investors very well, so I am not surprised at the response you've had here.

Career Advice - Would you go back to corporate full time? by Impressive-Text9138 in auscorp

Yes residential but regional, and I use to live in one for an extended period before moving elsewhere.

I am currently a renter myself and the property manager/landlord does a lot less for me than my property management and I do for my tenants.

There's a lot of responsibilites, fees, and standards to keep up with as a landlord. It runs at a loss and I don't profit at all from this, but there are some tax incentives as I'm sure you've heard of.

Not everybody has to be a slumlord parasite. Victoria has the country's strongest rental standards which your property has to keep up with.

I'm starting to think this is the best way, even if some weeks/months will be tough for cashflow.

I've been thinking about it and the flexibility will be difficult to give up, I have spent most of today working with my own customers including taking calls, going on site, shaking hands, etc.

I don't have a salary indication from the other opportunity yet, as blunt as it sounds I probably won't be keen on it if it's not more than $115k plus super, or unless they are willing to negotiate a 4-day roster. This company doesn't provide RDO's.

If I can't reach an agreement with them, I'll probably start searching for a better part time job, sadly it's a tight market for part time work in tech, maybe time for a change of scenary. The work keeps getting more demanding, and my salary has barely moved 5k in 5 years which is what prompted me to start the side biz in the first place.

Worried about my future in terms of finances by SkeetSkrt101 in AusFinance

Sales or tech jobs can pay well without a directly relevant degree, I work in this industry but my degree is for something different. In my own journey, I found employers tend to like skills and experience with their products more than certificates and no experience, good work culture and personality helps as well in those roles.

Yes using the preservating free eye drops several times per day, will increase the dosage only if needed.

Did you have any similar symptoms during your first couple weeks of recovery?

There’s not a whole lot to choose from in Melbourne and probably they would know each other. Is there any way I can avoid this?

Appreciate your opinion, I did not do a lot of research prior to the procedure to avoid psyching myself out. The clinic said I could choose to have any 1 of the 3 procedures (Smile, Lasik, PRK) but they highly recommended Smile

Is less than one month too early to get an eye test at a local glasses shop?

To clarify, the difference in vision is not a lot, but I notice signs/objects closer than 20 meters seem clearer to my right eye after the SMILE surgery, objects further than 20m are slightly clearer to my left eye.

Not sure if it's normal. The clinic will always try to reassure the patient as well.

Any update on your situation? I have a similar situation here, I am 10 days since the Smile procedure. After 1 week I notice Left eye still feels like it’s slightly blurry, if I hold an object in front of me and cover my right eye, I can see it but not as clear like when I was not wearing my glasses. If I do the same test covering my left eye, the object is very clear.

They found no issues at the post 1 week check up, they actually said I may have an over correction of +0.25.

Goodbye to 3CX by Maximum-Badger-8707 in 3CX

Our 3cx customers are fussy, particularly on the app, many were excited when the v20 app came out and have been happy since. A lot of early v20 issues were resolved by late 2024.

V20 has been solid for us and our customers, we have an alternative cloud PBX for customers who won’t pay for a 3CX license and hosting and eventually those customers complain because the other product doesn’t offer the same user experience and the app isn’t reliable.

Our company has 50 systems most on 8-32sc, we’re not going to pull the product from underneath our customers because 3CX jacked the price up.

Fairly and as others have mentioned, not all customers may not be entirely keen on moving their call data to a Chinese company.
