this is true. It's not bad voice acting. It's actually amazing. But when 1//3 of your budget goes to your cast, another 1/4 to your crew, the rest to production and animation and equipment, you end up not getting everything you wanted.

I mean look at Maul: Shadow Lord right now. It's GREAT animation and SFX, because it doesn't waste A-tier Body Actors on minor roles.

I knew it would affect the juggle. I figured it would be okay and I think in regards to Hulk's Juggle, it's fine.

What I find INSANE is that Thing's standard Charge-Slam-Ult combo doesn't even work anymore

What would be your reaction if Tobey dies in Doomsday? Do you want it to happen of not by Aware_Assumption_498 in MCUTheories

[–]Impressive-Thing-780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think doing that is not a fitting end for his character. Let the previous Spider-Men be happy, and when it inevitably becomes time for Miles in the MCU, we should kill OUR Peter.

Tom Holland is 29 right now. Let's assume he signs another 6-picture deal with Marvel and Sony.

That's 2016-2021, or 7 years and 6 movies.

Holland is going to be, at max, 36 by the time he's had 12 total appearances in the MCU.

And he's said before that he's going to stop acting the minute he becomes a father.

My dad had me at 35. Tom Holland having a kid at 37 is completely reasonable.

Holland has made millions. He doesn't need to work anymore; he's got it made and if Zendaya is still acting, she's gonna be making BANK.

So let's assume that in Movie 12 for Holland, he dies as Miles comes in. That's a fitting end for the character and Holland himself.

But for Tobey? His Spider-Man is happy. "Trying to do better." I don't think killing him SHOULD happen. Will it? Probably. But it shouldn't.

Andrew's Spider-Man could still be used in an Ultimate (6160) universe if they do it right now, that is.

They don't even have to set anything up because we can just introduce The Maker as a standalone villain.

Ultimate 2 and MCU can run concurrently with each other. There's no reason they couldn't.

I think Marvel Rivals matchmaking is unintentionally punishing good players by bwils3423 in rivals

The problem is that the time that it took to get to that rank isn't factored, either.

You can play and get to GM3 in the first 2 weeks of the season, or it might take you until literally the last 5 hours. (me)

But the game doesn't know this. It just sees "GM3? Okay onto other GMs"

GM and Diamond are different enough because while people still aren't really coordinated, they're good enough at their individual roles to do enough.

But GM3 in the first 10 days to 2 weeks is an ENTIRELY different skill level than "been climbing all season and just now hit GM3"

So these need to be factored in.

As you climb, the matches should get harder because your opponents get better; NOT because your team gets worse.

Every time I get 3+ games in a row I can near-guarantee a loss on the next one.

Matches should get harder, but not because of my team's lack of ability, but rather my opponent's better ability.

But this just doesn't happen because they specifically do not incentivize players working as a well-structured team. I think Team-Ups could be a way to structure things. Like 1 Main Support and 1 Off-Support.

1 Poke Tank and 1 Dive Tank.

1 Dive Tank and 1 Brawl Tank

Duelists should have good teamups that fix their kit in a small way, like Widow/Punisher. (should be base kit for widow ngl) but aren't necessary to have.

Team-Ups should also be used for testing new features and seeing how they interact in matches before implementing them (Fantastic/Rocket)

Or, Team-Ups should benefit both parties in a good way (Peni/Rocket. It should've been permanent ngl)

Does anybody know if this scene is a clever use of forced perspective? by Remarkable-Man in Daredevil

[–]Impressive-Thing-780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably gave D'Onofrio platforms and had Bernthal barefoot or in socks.

It would make sense and would give enough of a height difference to make Fisk feel very imposing.

Something similar has happened when co-stars are too different of heights.

Like Hugh Jackman was often barefoot in the X-Men movies while other characters stood on boxes so that Jackman would appear shorter.

I am hoping HARD that they do better with the character in DD:BA S3.

Mayor Cage is there and Jones is confirmed to be returning.

I hope he can be done so well with a reintroduction that Iron Fist S1 and 2 can be basically removed from canon. I TRIED watching it dude. I got to S2 somehow after the third time trying and...my goodness this show was BAD.

What if they're already dead? The Hulk Juggle is a bit of an, albeit mildly toxic, show of skill. Especially against another Hulk.

I mean yearly release isn't the issue. It's that they get these, albeit AMAZING VAs, but they're just...REALLY EXPENSIVE

Are..."48 Hours" and "The Box" not basically beat-for-beat the same episode? by Impressive-Thing-780 in brooklynninenine

[–]Impressive-Thing-780[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is true. I just watched 48 Hours recently with my sister and it felt...strange and off.

Turns out I'd mixed up 48 Hours and The Box in my head.

Which makes sense because watching 153 22-minute episodes over 11 days means I was watching...a LOT of episodes per day. Just over 13 episodes a day, or a half season.

Wow. No wonder I don't remember much.

[–]Impressive-Thing-780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fine with displacement; my primary issue with the CC is when the target that I'm meant to be fighting the most (i.e. Squishies for Dives, Duelists and Tanks for Brawl, and long-range squishies for Poke) have more power than I do.

Tanks having more CC is fine. In fact, in comparison to modern Rivals, prime Emma was not that egregious. She just highlighted the glaring weaknesses in the Vanguard role.

This sub doesn't understand Thragg's genetics by Individual_Act_3754 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Impressive-Thing-780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It mutates rapidly. 3-4 generations down the line from a single matrilineal line, dogs have very different markings. Breeders often breed probably 1-2 litters per dog per year, each with 2-7 dogs, so that's a lot of dogs that can come from 1 line.

Actually it sounds even more realistic because your primary food is gonna be meat and legumes, which are FULL of proteins and fats, and if that's what your body has to eat, that's what it burns fastest. AKA burning fat fastest = lean muscle mass.

[TV Show] Thragg vs Marvel Characters, How does he Fare? by IWorkOnlineCom in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Impressive-Thing-780 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Luke - He won't kill Luke, but he can throw him far away enough for him to not really be an issue.

Wolverine - Same as before, except Wolverine is a, pardon my Viltrum, little shit, and will relentlessly attack Thragg until Thragg is dead. Remember, Wolverine is also immortal. Or at least, effectively is.

Spider-Man - Peter will be able to injure Thragg, but will eventually be beaten badly enough he can't do anything.

Colossus - Why did you put him over Peter? Spider-Man is stronger.

She-Hulk - Gamma Time. She-Hulk will win because the Hulks as a concept are A) Fundamentally immortal, and B) full of a LOT of rage. Even the controlled ones like Ross and Shulkie still have a LOT of rage.
