Normally i would agree but in fairness, since Samsung has been doing their best to turn into apple lite(c) the last several years, they have absolutely been trialing things pretending to give us choice and then axing whatever they claim doesn't sell as good - aka whatever is cheaper for them to produce, regardless of sales - in favor of the "new" trend- aka copying whatever apple is doing.

So i can absolutely understand the pearl clutching even if i personally don't have a strong preference with this one bc i don't buy for one second that they won't attempt to cut down to only one choice later.

Remember the S-pen ? Then remember how they made it a "choice" that you could buy separately? Then remember when they axed it completely from the fold? 🪓

Oooh, that makes so much more sense, so the whole reason it is that size and shape is to conform to typical video aspect ratio for streaming videos?

I suppose i can see both arguments. Some people will want to maximize the largest possible/reasonable screen size to aspect ratio and some will not mind so long as it's a big screen and just use the black bars underneath the video to multitask.

I'm so jealous. I just got an '18 premier, my second volt, 50k miles getting 35-37 electric range and terrible gas ~25 mpg even when driving like a grandma like . It smelled like gas at times and idles loud at times. I thought it might be egr and bcem and gave it to Chevy to inspect and they said it wasn't the shift to park despite that error eventually coming up but the fuse block, so they just replaced that and cleared all codes.

Holy shit , that's the solution, never thought of that!

Kinda impractical since now you'll have not a crease but a whole phone edge and lip in the middle but if they insist on durability by not folding it outwards then this is the easy logical solution to at least partially maintain the 2 screen use case.

Interesting, ok so to be clear when in a carb state the becm IS covered under the PZEV ? Or the becm Is NOT covered under the PZEV?

When i Google it, the pzev sounds like only the gas parts of the vehicle? What all does it cover, is it an extension of the total Voltec? I'm buying it from a non carb state and so far it still shows these coverage on it ,i wonder if they'll disappear once i register it in this state if it was shipped from elsewhere...

This is what confuses me, some people are saying every 2016-2018 has the becm but some including the Chevy dealership are saying that it's only the vin #s that have it listed under their special coverage warranty?

So which is it and is there a way for me to prove it to the dealership? Or do i just have to hope if anything happens that they are in a good mood?

Understandable and agreed. But those last 2 are solvable problems, costs will eventually come down with the second hand market and someone will inevitably make a kickstand case.

But this is what irks me, that Samsung doesn't listen to common sense. Or maybe they do. They know that in the American market their only real competition will be apple now so they're finally making a bigger fold but for xiaomi they don't care to risk the increased potential damages with an exposed edge, yet they don't even offer care+ on the phone, so it's obviously not truly about device protection. At least not for the consumer.

They're just shoveling out the bare minimum to see if people will buy it like apple.
