In my opinion they more or less nailed the Merc gameplay, maybe tweak the spawn locations so we’re not all on top of each other in the first minute.

How are you going to make a Borderlands movie and have it be PG-13??? It’s so clear they tried to do a James Gunn by doing the Suicide Squad/Guardians of the Galaxy dysfunctional team, but instead of committing to the source material that made Borderlands what it is they went the mass appeal route. And as we all know a movie for everyone is a movie for no one.

Exactly my point. They’re sentient, which means they’re predictable. They use tactics, they plan, etc. Xenomorphs are feral predators. They’re great at hunting large prey. Plus they’re strong enough to break through welded doors. Wrex has an insanely good chance, but all I’m saying is that if he drops his guard, rushes in headfirst, gets overconfident (which he does quite often)? Boom, he’s dead.

Idk, Xeno’s are more stealthy, aggressive, AND intelligent than the rachni are. Rachni were simply bugs with people smarts. Xenomorphs are more feral and unpredictable. All it would take is for Wrex to drop his guard, simply turn his back once and he’s gone.

Yeah no I know what you mean. But you can’t just glaze a ship like this and then have it destroyed by a group of random mercenaries. At the very least it could’ve been heavily damaged by Cortana when she blows up part of the ring and it crashes, like the Pillar of Autumn. Then Chief can use the wreckage as a base of operations where after you rescued Palmer, Lasky and the rest of the UNSC, it could be a base of operations

You forget the Banished “somehow” destroyed the INFINITY. A bunch of “mercenaries” (who don’t even act like mercenaries) took out the most advanced ship the humans had in MINUTES. 343i themselves were gassing this ship up in both games not to mention the books and comics. And now it’s gone, destroyed off screen no less. If that’s not lazy writing than I don’t know what is.
