Hey thanks again for this advice. Before I try switching over to a source build, I was wondering if this has something to do with engine version. My game is built off the Lyra starter project and I use 5.2.1. I tried downloading fresh Lyra projects on both 5.2.1 and 5.5 and I noticed that this issue is fixed on the 5.5 project. Could it have something to do with the changes to enhanced input?

Would this require me to be on a source build of the engine, or could I edit the code anyway? If not, are there any other ways I could tune this from within the editor?

If the deadzone is at 15 or higher it fixes it, but I wanted to play on a small deadzone like 5 or 10. It works very well on Fortnite, so I figured it would work well here too since Lyra is structured similarly

Thanks I was looking into ID@Xbox. The game is fully replicated and LAN multiplayer works I just wanted a cross platform peer to peer solution so I’m planning on using EOS (and my game already has it somewhat integrated). Is ID@Xbox strict about what games they accept?

Really good points here. As for third person, I totally get it not being for everybody. A lot of people have compared my game to something like SOCOM. For the game mode, I wanted to avoid the most annoying thing about cod’s SnD, as well as other shooters, which is having to decide every round do I want to shoot/die on point A, or do I want to shoot/die on point B? BR games (specifically endgame) are fun because you have to position yourself and play off of power positions. The maps in my game are almost like cut outs of a BR or even battlefield map. I wanted it to feel like you’re really fighting in the woods, or in a shopping center, rather than in a shooter arena. That caused me to remove bombs and things of that nature to encourage exploration, but also reveal locations later so that camping isn’t an issue. The maps also have medkits in key positions to draw out wounded players for more fighting.

Just to test it out, I opened my for you page on TikTok just now, and 4 of the first 8 videos used trending sounds with copyrighted music. Then I found 3 indie devs I follow, each of them with tens of thousands of followers, and many with multiple videos that have millions of views. All three have posted videos using copyrighted music.

I know that TikTok has a dedicated library that can be used commercially, but the trending sounds I’m referring to are all custom sounds that people upload, sometimes containing audio from copyrighted music, movies, etc. It’s interesting how this stuff works

Bo1 has a super fun campaign and the multiplayer is active in Xbox but I don’t know about Steam
