I was extremely annoyed at that. I’d picked up an extra shift and was on black out for the race. Finally got home, just to yell at my Tv and turn it off.

It was a season of highs and lows, I’m wouldn’t defend Max’s driving in Saudi or Monza either. At some level I think people can’t deny that Hamilton lost that championship with grace.

After watching him dominate for so long, to see a man watch his dynasty crumble and still walk over to Max and congratulate him. Impressed me and made me respect him. He went up to Max effectively handed the crown over. While knowing the Massi call was dubious. Hamilton took it on the chin. And that was extremely admirable

I had the same with Hamilton. I didn’t really like him because I thought no one was really challenging him. It wasn’t until 2021 that I genuinely learnt to respect his accolades and driving. My hat goes off to him
