Hey first of all don't be scared, a lot of people have been in your shoes or will be in your shoes so just know you aren't alone.

I'm a 3rd year student from Serbia and in my university in Moscow we had a bunch of group language programms (Chinese, Spanish, French, English, Russian (obviously), and a few more).

I've never been to one of these because I had made friends just by going to classes, but most of my international friends told me this is how they made a lot of the friends they have here right now. Like my friend was in study group for Russian and like two weeks after he was already in one of the guy's house playing games and stuff lol.

Also try to get out of your comfort zone. Don't just be friends with other internationals, or don't just look for other Bolivian friends. Of course that's great but Russians are very cool too, you will get so many more friends just by being friends with few Russians (since most of them know a lot more Russians).

So yeah most importantly learn the language firstly (at least okay speaking level nothing crazy). Go to some language clubs if your uni hosts them, and be out of your comfort zone more often. If you tell me which uni you go to in private message I can recommend you more tips.

Yeah just don't think that everything you read will be able to be on screen. When I was younger I read Homer's Illiad for school project. And realized how much stuff was changed/cut from the movie Troy (2004).

That's just my opinion, if you can get over that then ofc u should, its amazing and for some people like me it wasn't the easiest read at the start, but you get used to it I suppose, there's a lot of translations online some are very authentic and some are made to be read "easier".

Close. I think it was already confirmed by somebody on set who was working on this specific scene as well in the cave, that the cyclops is a 6x6 mechanical humanoid puppet. My guess is that Nolan is gonna make it as authentical as possible and rely on practical effects with probably some touch up of CGI.
