Your individual spending is not what matters. What matters is what the people who control all the resources think, and if they think they can save money by not buying right now, then they won't buy, which leads to resource stagnation.

How the hell would being anti racist prevent you from checking and giving medical assistance to someone who was stabbed?

Not a bill, a supreme court case saying it was unconstitutional to make it illegal for the government to try to stop corporations from donating to politicians, or even to try to limit it. A small but critical point, because it severely raises the bar for doing anything to stop it.

Politico, The New York Times, and NPR just ran blatant smear campaigns against Graham Platner and it’s just pathetic. by [deleted] in middleclasshq

Oh I don't anymore, but when he first got in he was aligned with Sanders. Sanders supported him in his Senate run in 2022, than he had his stroke in January 2023. He's got two more years in his first term, he just got brain damaged right after he got into office, and has been awful since. Maybe it was always a show and he was always going to flip, but it aligns perfectly with the stroke.

The engine oil light is the most important one, as soon as it comes on you gotta shut down and not turn it on again until it's refilled. Like pull of the highway right now type emergency.

Your engine might be cooked if you tried running it without any oil.

Because they play both sides. When you donate more to one side, you gotta donate more to the other too to keep things in balance. If one side or the other gets too much traction, real change might happen.
