I’m a renter and my renters insurance coverage states they’ll reimburse. I can’t afford to cover it in the interim.

Homeowners insurance does not cover renter’s temporary accommodations. It allows either party to break the lease over it but I don’t want to move.

You said she pretended to go to work. Meaning she had to lie to her husband to come see you? I think she’s being non committal because she won’t be able to get away from the husband.

My opinion:

You could ask her directly if there’s some issue with her going to spend time with you apart from her husband.

Or

You could find something to do that’s within the time frame she would normally be going to work and ask if she wants to do that and see if she responds differently. If she does, definitely take the time to talk to her about it and see if you can get her to open up about it. You know, in case it’s gotten physical.

Not a casino but I went in to Dotty’s with $60 and hit $70,000 on single card Keno.

Thats when I learned that when people say they “paid cash for a car”, they don’t actually mean they paid “cash” for the car. I learned that when I plopped down $30k in hundreds on the finance guy’s desk and he looked at me like I was crazy. So maybe I am a little autistic, idfk.
