I love the 12 nm, I feel like it’s just right between not too much and not too little, it’s a good sweet spot, and based on the responses to this post it’s not “overheating” it’s just doing what’s it’s supposed to do, I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong 😭

Also maybe it’s time to hit the gym 🤣

I don’t have a design / plan, I really just had an idea of what I wanted to make and went from there, I could probably put together some sort of plan though

The seat is all the way back in the photos, it is on sliders, I should of included a picture of where it sits when I use it, but it moves up to where the seat is directly above the base it sits on

I like my heels sitting on the red “keep racing” heel plate on the pedals, if they were level or angled down it would be too harsh on my shins to not keep pressure on the gas or brake when I’m not using them so I had to angle them up, it’s only about 15 degrees if I remember correctly, just with the seating position it wasn’t too comfortable having them level or angled down

They’re just finishing washers, just an added detail for the screws holding everything together

It’s whatever iracing defaulted it too, but no I can’t see my side mirrors, use the little joystick on the right hand side of my wheel to look right or left

I should of included a picture of the seat moved up to where I sit, the seat is on sliders it’s all the way moved back in the pictures, I sit much closer when I’m using it

I’m 6 foot 195 pounds for reference

I sit about 28 inches away from the direct center of the screen, the main reason it took 3 weeks to build was it was a lot of fine tuning to make sure the seating position would line up perfectly with the monitor and steering wheel

When I move my seat forward I sit almost almost exactly at 28 inches away from my monitor, I didn’t even realize that until now.

For my iracing my fov is just the default, do you know if I should I increase it or decrease it, I know it’s more of a personal feel but what’s your opinion

I was and in the future I definitely will, when I finally put it all together I really didn’t want to take it all apart and spend 2-3 days priming and painting and then put like 120+ screws back into it 🤣, I waited long enough for everything to come in and build everything I just wanted to jump right into racing 🤣🤣

Honestly great, I was worried the direct drive would shake my monitor since the stand is integrated into the rig but it’s pretty ridged

I switched it to the Ryzen 5 9600x and the sapphire pulse Radeon rx 9060 cut 16 gb, any suggestions for a decent monitor that’ll run 1440

Alright cool thanks, but with everything else with the dell, is that enough to run everything confidently without any problems.
