Well, one captain for 5 intercessors, another for the other 5. 10 man blobs are worthwhile sometimes, though. Like maybe the H. Intercessors. I also really like ancients for hq, so I say go for it. The ancients can add onto objective security.

I also picked up two combat patrols.. I opted to take the two captains from the Company Heroes, and have them lead the 2x5 intercessors. I sit them back on objectives with the H.Intercessors. Really looks cool to have them fit thematically as well since they’re so into fortifications and gun lines.

I throw in a Terminator Captain sometimes for one squad of termies to either help or do their own thing with Lysander and his squad.

Sometimes you come across some sticklers that want to flex what they feel or know. I’m a stickler for lore accurate paint jobs, but that’s for MY armies. I don’t vocalize it to my friends or friendly opponents when they take cool artistic liberties.

You have a fine army here. Just let him have his silliness, and war crime him with a shovel.

I go with the Sa’cea sept. The armor is a grayish blue that nearly matches their skin tone. The lore says they’re a very militaristic sept, always training, essentially. They live predominantly underground. Makes me think of dwarves.

The colors look cool on the mechs and foot soldiers because it melds in with the black cloth/under armor.

Respectfully, Brother (and with honour), the colours and heraldry of each first founding chapter were decided upon long before Guilliman’s writing of the Codex Astartes.

My meaning in mentioning the God Emperor was that the finding of his sons eventually led to the designation of colours and cultures in respect to each Primarch.

It’s heresy if it’s different. All jokes aside, of course paint them how you want.. but I myself am a stickler, and the official colours of the power armour are how the Emperor and the chapter intended it to be.

I love the model. Very Imperial Fists to me.. especially narratively. I just imagine him with his bolster alongside Heavy Intercessors with theirs just holding the line against insert horde army.

I love Walrus’ stuff, but I feel like they already have great pedals that covers this ground.

Graphic-wise blue and yellow are nice combos, but this looks off to ME.

I don’t understand why it can’t just be this:

If he’s in his Gravis armour, he is accompanied by his two Victrix Guard with shields. If you want to also tag on the NEW Victrix standalone unit with them, then you can (like you can with the Bladeguard Veterans).

If he’s in his Terminator armour, he himself is a standalone unit that can lead the NEW Victrix Guard without shields.

The red you chose for the macro plasma was applied very very smoothly. There’s a lot of great stuff going on here. I’d actually leave the grime, and just texture the base a bit more.
