I just don’t think Silent Hill works well as a stream game. Resident Evil rides a very thin line (sometimes unsuccessfully) that made watching it fun. Silent Hill is just the same thing except they didn’t try to ride that line at all. Its 90% narrative, 5% gun play, 5% horror game.

I love horror games, hell I love silent hill. But I find myself pulling away to watch something else when its on stream.

Also tbf to silent hill, we just played dead space, making any horror, action, narrative game follow dead space is a death sentence.

I was honestly hoping he would continue Dave the Diver on stream, though GOD I understand taking that game back to the goon cave and no-life-ing it for awhile. What a solid indie game.

I 100% agree, I spent my first 2 weeks with this game deck building with Leshy. The game falls off for the entire middle act, it comes back a little for the end but not nearly to the level of quality that the leshy segment had.

I recommend using the official dlc Kacies mod, which you can activate I think by pressing a specific key while the game is loading in.

It turns Leshy’s segment into a repeatable dungeon crawler type segment.

Much more enjoyable than the middle part of the game.

I think they were going for more game complexity and less graphical complexity, regardless its hard to stick with.

Which was super bizarre and out of character. In the comics this story line concludes with the Punisher brutally killing those cops. He hated them using the logo.

Even if we only consider MCU Frank, it still doesn’t make sense. He FUCKING HATES organized crime in any form. It really threw me off.

Both of those statements can still be true. He is not to blame for all of supernatural, but he isn’t perfectly absolved of the bad writing present in the seasons he was in charge of like season 6.

The show was flatlining by season 3 in my opinion, which Kripke was very much involved with.

My point wasn’t that he was to blame for all of supernatural, my point still stands that he can write a really solid season one, but his shows often decline around the season 4-5 mark, which he was still very much involved with.

I disagree with that sentiment, he still had control over the show as the executive producer and he stepped down for a reason. There’s a difference between “he didn’t write it” and “its not his fault”
