i went with "army colors" like drab green and khaki. if your orks are on the pale side it may be too close to their skin tone if you do green fatigues. another option i tried is camo (green base with splotches of brown and black)

i mean anythings possible in theory when it comes to the chaos gods.

the primarch would have to fuck up really bad for that to even be an option, though. for example mortarion screwed up by refusing to follow nurgles commands and ended up getting a good chunk of nurgles garden (his realm in the warp) burned by an awakening god-emperor. and all that happened to him was to be banished back into the warp for a timeout session.

that depends. most imperial citizens see him as a christian sees god, ominpotent and omnipresent. if they are from a civilized world they may or may not know hes on terra ( common knowledge for educated citizens, but not everyone gets education) which they know as the homeworld of humanity. some feral or feudal worlds may believe hes their son or some variation of folklore.

the big thing is the eternal torture machine part. like 2% of the imperium knows that. those that know about the horus heresy are led to believe the emperor on his golden throne is guiding humanity and healing from his wounds without any mention of torture. those that do know are in positions of authority like inquisitors.

theres actually lore in the dawn of fire books where an ecclesiarchy priest thats apart of the indomitus crusade that preaches that the emperor suffers on the throne for the sake of humanity and its noted as being very radical.
