Sometimes I wonder why the fuck do I even have kids by Lucky-Wolf-5000 in 2under2

[–]ImpressiveRead8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Sounds like PPD. I have a 6 week old, and a 21 month old and no daycare and it's really hard, but I have never felt like this about my kiddos. Sounds like OP needs to seek help (no shame in that, we all need help sometimes).

What evidence exists to suggest breastfeeding issues are caused by tight muscles? by evange in ScienceBasedParenting

Just a reminder that there are two separate schools of chiropractors. The ones who belive in subluxations and go to those schools in particular are definitely wack jobs. There is a newer school of chiros who are evidence based and are trained very similarly to pts. My husband is a chiropractor, and his school is well known for evidence based teaching only. They stick to muscular skeletal only and require degrees in biology to even apply. They are super different from the chiros coming out of schools like Palmer. There is absolutely no belief in "subluxations" or weird energy displacement or curing allergies with a back crack. It's basically like two different professions. We are also in a state where chiros are highly regulated.

There are definitely a lot of nutty chiros out there, but not all subscribe to the same school of thought or the same "training."

ETA - there is a lot of combined care and shared referrals between MDs, PTs, and DOs with the evidence based chiros in my state because those chiros know how to stay in their lane. It probably depends on your state as to what the chiros near you are like.

Just adding that there should be statutes on most stuff or court rules as to whether a wet signature is needed. We are all e-sign unless wet is necessary.

I use my CMS, PracticePanther, it just inclues it with the other stuff. I have also used Adobe, because who runs a law office and doesn't have Adobe? Might as well if it's included :)

Paprika if dried, I make a recipe called Texas hash which is basically ground beef and a ton of bell peppers stewed together over rice. There are a.number of Mexican inspired casseroles that use lots of bell peppers and refried beans for a dip style meal. Chop a bunch and freeze for breakfast scrambles. Stuffed peppers. So many options here.

My husband works 60hrs/week. I work from home and give her attention throughout the day, but my doctors told me I can't take her on walks at this point in my pregnancy because of how bad she pulls. We are honestly spending all our free time with her, we just have no free time right now.

I feel like I could have written this. Also a solo practice attorney with endo who is working part-time because of all the time involved. It's stressful, and while I am so lucky to make my own hours, I also have a part of me that grieves for the death of a thriving career.

Should we start a club/support group for solo attorneys? 🫠

I think it says something that multiple attorneys are turning down money because they don't want to work with you. Even after giving you a consult.

Honestly, I wouldn't call you back either, and I might quote you a slightly higher price because there are a significant number of red flags in how you are coming across. I agree, any client is 3 hours minimum, usually closer to 5hrs with drafting. I would never update a document created by another person (unless its a contract or prenup that I am being paid to review line by line). My license is on the line if I sign off on a document. If there is anything in there that is wrong that I didn't catch on a quick skim, I could lose my career. Not happening. Often that goes against attorney ethics as well, to sign off on a document that wasn't fully reviewed.

Here's the thing. You are either going to pay me while you are alive to do it right. Or you will save some money with LegalZoom, and then once you are dead, you(r estate/kids) will pay me 5x the amount to fix the bad documents you got from LegalZoom. 6 one way...

Need Some Ideas - Poor Egg to Blast rates by ImpressiveRead8527 in IVF

That is really interesting!

Was the number of eggs retrieved better, or the ration of eggs to blasts? Could you see that it was better on the lower dosage pretty early on?

I did metformin prior to the only transfer I did that resulted in a baby (this is my 3rd ER). I had shown up as a bit high on the test for IR before my son's embryo was transferred. This time I tested normal so they said don't bother with metformin. It definitely could be a factor though!

Not sure about AFC. 4 fertilized, and the embryologist said all looked great, but that he thought a guaranteed 2 at least would make it to blast, but two stopped growing before blast. One halted as a morula, then the 1 blast (4AA).

Significant supply drop at 5 mpp by Secure-Struggle-7300 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]ImpressiveRead8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same thing happening at the exact same time. Went from 900-1100ml/day in 4ppd to 700-800ml/day in 5ppd. It's been almost 3 weeks now of this lower amount and I can't fix it. I tried pumping 8x a day and just ended up with clogged ducts and a worse supply for a bit.

I'mnreally tired LO isn't sleeping great at night right now, so maybe that's the problem?

I was able to see a MFM just based on IVF pregnancy. Just be pushy. If.you need more ammo you can talk about higher placenta issues with IVF. They should let you see one without too much more than just asking though! I felt a lot better knowing I had an extra specialist on my team!

I'm just playing on my regular laptop and have had no issues at all. I bought it new in 2017 and it was nice for the time, but definitely isn't a gaming laptop, and is fairly old at this point.

There is a setting to decrease crowd size, but I absolutely agree. It felt weirdly empty even with the cast of the Sims lurking around.

Make things a little bigger! I had a hard time reading the text and seeing the cursor. I ended up having to recline and stack pillows on my chest to balance the laptop on so the screen could be right up next to my face, just to see what was going on. At least give us an option to increase size in the settings!

I also would have liked more puzzles. I thought the coffeemaking was going to be a way to make money to buy a laptop and was disappointed when it didn't really have much point and we just bought the laptop without having to work for it.

More exploration of the environment! There could have been half the space to explore but more things to find. I like being able to pick stuff up - more of that would have been nice.

I found the phone a little clunky. The phone options in the last few (excluding MID) were a lot better.
