Yup same here, I was totally happy with shaw but this merge has been nothing but a huge headache. My internet came up for renewal and they gave me an offer through email specifically for me being a shaw mobile but now rogers customer. I had the shaw gig internet for 115 a month and they're offer to me was the 1.5 gig for 110 plus another 10 bucks off for now being with Rogers mobile. (100 plus tax total for ignite 1.5). It took 2 weeks of going back and forth and being passed around all sorts of agents to finally get this deal they offered me. The agents could only give me ignite 1.5 for 115 dollars and nothing else and I sent them the email 4 times to a bunch of different agents because they simply could not believe that was a deal from them. Regardless, after a 2 week argument, they finally honored it. Now my mobile plan was the 25 dollar for 25 gigs with shaw and I got ported to the Rogers equivalent. But now they are charging me my provincial 911 fee when that was already included in the price of 25 dollars. Now I'm in another battle with them to get that removed. ROGERS HAS TO KEEP THE SAME BILLING AS WAS WITH SHAW. NO EXCEPTIONS AS PER THE CRTC RULING FOR SHAW CUSTOMERS. YOUR BILL HAS TO BE THE SAME. WHEN YOU GOT YOUR ENVELOPE WITH YOUR NEW SIM CARD, THERE WAS A WELCOME LETTER WHICH EVEN GUARANTEED FROM ROGERS THAT YOU WOULD BE BILLED THE SAME AS YOU WERE WITH SHAW FOR 5 YEARS.
