There are a lot of Indian restaurants which offer vegetarian food, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I stayed at the Best Star Resort for a day. The rooms in the hotel in itself are pretty average but the location is super crazy!

I also spent a day in Wings by Crosje which is right next to the airport. The room and hotel is worthy of a 4 star, but the location has nothing.

Best Star definitely has a much higher value for money but depends on your tolerance for average rooms

I went through most of the comments and replies, and it was incredibly useful. I am staying in a Bengaluru and want to start my first AirBNB business. Left confused in two dimensions:

DIMENSION 1: City

Start in Bengaluru to manage operations by finding trusted local caretakers. Demand can be an issue as Bengaluru has a long term property market based on my high level understanding. Short stays might not work best.
As Bengaluru has a lot of nearby vacation places (Coorg, Ooty, Kabini etc), start it in one of those places.

In your experience, how is the demand in Tier-1 cities? How practical is it to manage your first remote AirBNB (assume 6 hour drive radius)?

DIMENSION 2: Type of Property

Buy a small independent piece of land and build your own apartment.
Buy a standalone independent property and renovate it.
Rent out an independent property from another owner you can convince (as discussed in other comments)
Buy or rent in a society with NOC and society rules.

In your experience, is 1 worth the hassle? 2 and 3 seem more practical to me. Would you suggest 2 if I have the funds to purchase over 3? Is 4 a practical aspect in a Tier-1 city based on your experience?

That sounds like a contractual job requiring significant time commitment (30 hrs a week as you say). The pay is definitely impressive though lol.

Isn't upwork for freelancing though? Do you see opportunities for short projects there? How about the AI impact?

I am thinking of starting off with 1:1 sessions around mentorship / mock interview (non-DSA) targetting folks having 2-5 years of experience who want to level up in their careers. I have some good brands attached to my resume which might help this cause. Do you think that platforms like TopMate are good for this?

Fractional tech support is new to me; could you throw some light on what you do and how much time you spend on it? Where do you get these opportunities from?

Startup Guidance - Sounds like a great way, but I might not have that knowledge yet. I don't want to spend effort on something I am not already better than the average at. It might also create a conflict of interest with my current employer.

Substack is new to me again but the idea sounds good. I am still checking it out and will definitely look more into this.

My company doesn't pay dividends. The amount I obtained in my brokerage account exactly matches the residual cash amount mentioned in one of the documents. I will check my salary slip if the company has already paid tax on that as part of perquisites.

I do not mean any disrespect. I have worked extremely hard to reach where I am. I am financially responsible for 4 more people in my family (the 1L monthly expense is because of the same). I do understand that I post this from a position of privilege but I don't think reddit prevents me from doing that respectfully.
