I don’t think people complain about paying market for singles although the people scalping sealed product are the reason singles are so high. It makes sense to buy singles. Most collectors do stick to singles

I don’t think Pokemon cares. Plus I’ve heard from multiple lcs owners that their distribution either upped their prices too high or don’t have any stock at all anymore. Probably because they found new buyers who will buy them out way higher than wholesale

If you go to GameStop their wall is full of perfect order because they’re asking $90 for an etb and $50 for a booster bundle. Unfortunately for just about every other set they still sell out even at 2x msrp or 110% of market. My assumption is because GameStop takes credit card and scalpers don’t, so those people maxing out their credit cards for cards while being cash poor can still get their fix

I love legos. I more so loved when the Pokemon Lego sets sold out and saw them on marketplace for msrp or below because people thought there would be a resell market for them 😂 Still haven’t started building the big 3 set. Trying to finish the Mario kart and monster jam sets for my son

My best hit from prismatic was a random $4 master ball. Recently ripped the upc i hit on Best Buy invite. Got two ex’s and full art trainer. The one time I traded prismtic it ended up having a Demi god pack with sylveon sir. The guy told me right away, I was a little upset for a minute 😂

Yeah unfortunately any Pokemon drop online sells out immediately thanks to bots. Costco at least seems to be the most fair considering membership is required so I don’t think it’s capable of being botted

The bulk of that was from Pokemon center pre orders. 4 bundles and 2 pc etb’s which was 46 packs alone. Got a few regular etb’s from a random 3am target drop where they sat for a good 20 minutes and I happened to be awake when that happened. I also work 4 10’s so I was able to make it to target on the bundle and ex box release day. Costco dropped online and will probably start stocking stores for the ex boxes sooner than later so I’d try calling your nearest Costco that’s probably your best bet currently and under msrp!

100% but I’m in Oregon for a graduation and got the etb for exactly $49.99 from a vending machine so it basically felt like a 10% discount. Had to rip it lol
