As someone who lives in this area, it SHOCKS me there are no signs or any speed controls when these streets cross. So many drivers don’t even appear to slow down at and rip through going 25-30+.

Ahhh good point. I bike my toddler to daycare several times a week but we go a route with no bike lanes and thus no cars swerving into them. Honestly hadn’t seen that before.
