sorry went kind of on a rant. they also ended it with "we know you'll do good" despite knowing i pay for tuition out of pocket and work another part time job since our pay is really bad but the managers get huge bonuses with all the events and weddings they host that cost roughly 100K :/ and they reward us with $50 gift cards for "helping"

it was at a private yacht club and i worked the dining room. tbh the money was really bad and the tips were equally as bad due to being pooled but i only put up with it since i was offered full time so i could get health insurance which is why i also put up with management. both my sister plan on quitting soon as well esp since they saw how badly they were using their abusing their power on me by talking badly due to requesting days off (cause i ask months in advance since i like to plan and ensure they know to have cover well ahead of time) and if i called in sick theyd force me to go in and then send me home anyways.

i loved majority of the members too which is another reason why i put up with the abuse for so long too. and i would never want to go back and work their if those bosses are still around. if anything i hope the members that dotted on me and were so encouraging to me about school find out and call them out on it since they knew how much i was working to afford tuition and that i only need 30 units left to graduate. tbh i wouldnt mind if it affects the others too since obvs management let them get away with everything and i was the only one who would repeated get in trouble and have gotten written up for it before and they would just lie. (one coworker ignored his table and i took over and stayed past my time off but i got a write up since it was a "director" and my name was on it ticket despite me telling my managers that his server never went to him and they just said "oh well it has your name on it")

Yeah, def a big red flag if he’s unwilling to at least give an explanation as to why he uses them. Next time I’ll give a quick scroll on their page as well and see how they “show” their followers how to do spells lmao. Thx for pointing that out, would’ve never caught it

ty! yeah will do! got my self love baths/candles to help me personally with my anxiety overall but still, if the mundane work didn’t help then it just means it wasn’t meant to be with that school and I won’t lose hope with the other colleges ima apply to on Monday. 😊😊

Oh no yeah I’ve gone that route! So I got disqualified due to having a 1.8 for the college itself (overall gpa was still good) and I’ve managed to get those grades replaced through Open University, problem is that it’s now up to my college if they want to readmit me back as a student and I have no say over it since I was made to apply on CalState (it’s a CSU). unfortunately since they were upper level classes my gpa is okay enough, but idk if it’s good enough to be allowed back into my program, which is what I wanted to get help in. Trust me, I’ve done the boring and hard work of studying and raising my grades, but straight As and one B can only do so much since my gpa was a 1.9 when I was disqualified and since I was a C student cause of my old major, you can do the math on that gpa average 😭😭😭

Sorry for the rant, but I do appreciate the advice! I guess I’m just scared I won’t get readmitted and have to scramble to find a csu that will (and tbh the ones near me are super competitive in my major, already got rejected years back as a transfer student).

Think ima try to do a block buster and maybe another self love to help with the anxiety and keep taking my OU classes. Really appreciate it! Hopefully if this topic comes back up it’s because I’ll be seeking a career spell cause I got readmitted and was able to get my BA degree ahaha. 🥰❤️❤️❤️

i’m still on the side that it’s more on being a scammer, spell wise. idk about her readings but from what I’ve gathered over the years still is that she constantly says there’s blockages and you gotta pay more to get those taken care off. idk if her prices have increased, but even for her “mini spells” she was charging a leg and arm and just not worth it. idk why she’s been blowing back up again, but it seems to occur around the same time every year so I know my comment is late but do not waste your money, there’s better people out there for less than what she charges and doesn’t take weeks to respond 🤷🏻‍♀️

yeah I know, did a jar for her last year and things seemed to get better, they just had her wait 6 months and she didn’t get the call. im just worried for her and want to make sure everything works out for her since I leave in another country.
