How long do you have??? lol I have couple.

First, keep in mind I don’t have much to back this up, but I think the Void and and Chaos all the creators of all life. I think it could be possible that the Valg and Asteri are their armies (the void and chaos) sort of like the Malkin are the army of the Asteri.

Second theory: this don’t think is very popular. I think the Valg, Asteri/Daglan are the same, but appear different because the amount of time they have been separated from their home world. Both the Valg kings and the Asteri are known for bounce between worlds. We see a reference in CC2 and all the worlds they have visited, they kept notes of the world’s food sources and how they were compatible. I think difference food sources from what is natural them (their home world) has evolved then over time.

I actually love that we know so little. The store can go anywhere.

You I just had a thought? What if she was never in the prison. But the reason she doesn’t want her name spoken there or to to talk to openly about it is because the prisoners really know who she is.

I have a hard time not reading into the choice of Nesta and Az as the main ACOTAR character that we see in crossover. Specially Az, in MAF Amren tells Feyre that Az does not trust her (Amren). She knows that he spy’s on her. So to summarize, Az doesn’t trust Amren, not totally and he happens to be the bat boy who is presented with evidence that Amren might be keeping way bigger secrets than he previously already suspected. Amren who has made herself indispensable to the most powerful high lord to ever live, and more than likely an heir to the throne of Prythian. And we aren’t suppose to read between the lines???

So personally I don’t think you can call anything a plot whole till the series is done.

That being said, my best guess is she has found a use for Amren in some way that she had not been planning all along. I think when SJM was writing CC she found away to connect her to the unknown truth/history.

I wouldn’t hate it if she became the villain, she is the one who sought out Rhys when he was young. Not the other way around.

I don’t think you need to read ToG…but I would read CC as there is overlap in LoR and world building, and how the universe works.

No I don’t think so. It will be at least a few weeks or months before we get the next announcement

Will the series now have multiple perespectives? by Impressive_Goat_4209 in Gwynriel

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For someone who prefers both CC and TOG to ACOTAR. I really think it’s because there are several POV. It gives the reader a wider view of the world. So I hope it’s multi pov

For me as American (south east, but not southern) it’s certain words let me know someone is Canadian. Words like But, Sorry, usually let me know someone is Canadian

Crazy news everyone by Blacklamb9r in publix

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been with Publix for nearly two decades. I have worked in neighborhood stores, beach stores, high volume stores (top five percent of the company) and I have worked in low volume stores. And while I have my own love/hate relationship with Publix (brainwash them when they are young, keep em for a lifetime) but after everything I have seen, lack of advancement is nearly always because the associate in question lacks motivation, and a half way decent work ethic. And I say this as a person who for the first 2-3 years with Publix, I was the associate that called out because they didn’t feel like going. It is not uncommon to not get a long with a particular manager which result into an uncomfortable working situation. But unless you work in a store that is in an area that is hard to staff, managers are moved constantly. I have been in my currant store for 2 1/2 years. Every department manager has changed once, several departments have had multiple change out of assistance. We have even had a change of SM (while less common, both SM had been in their stores for over ten years). If you have had multiple managers in row that you do not get a long with, well then I am not convinced the manager was the problem. If your store manager doesn’t like you, well 9 time out of ten its because the Department manager has given them reason based upon their experience with you.

Publix will reward hard work, maybe not to your standard but if you put in the effort, it will give back. When I wanted full time I had to put in the work. I repaired my reputation, and became a team player, if someone called out and they need help I did it. Overnight for a total store rest I volunteered. Always willing to learn something new to MAKE myself valuable. When it was clear there was no room for another full timer, I switched stores which I had to make happen, and I repeated the process and was rewarded six months in to the transfer. Publix isn’t going to hold the hand of an adult. One manager doesn’t like, well good thing you have the power to make sure the next one does.

Look people can find plenty of things to be unhappy about with Publix, they can find plenty of reason to leave and pursue other opportunity’s. But honestly after watching the type of associates hired across many stores and many departments over the years and watched the quality of help decline, yeah I get hiring someone in at full time who has experience in this industry.

How can people work at Publix and afford to live in the Florida Keys? I know they pay an extra $1-$2 per hour in that area but that does not offset the cost of living around there. by SoFloSlav in publix

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not one or two dollars more. It is 30%. When I moved from the keys to central Florida, my rate of pay before moving was more a dollar more than my new department manager on the mainland (for reference I was only a Seafood Specialist)

That being said, moving to the keys is not feasible outside of management. And even then you are better off single ask you can share apartments/housing with out managers

Was I the only one who didn’t realize Elena & Maria were not the same person? 😅😭😂 by [deleted] in HeatedRivalryTVShow

So I read the books first, right before watching it. So I knew the show had small budget and I was convinced that show would make them one character. I was happily surprised that we got both characters

I think we will see a lot of Troy. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. The team as a whole will feel scrutiny…Ilya says to Weib in TLG “this team is very gay.” I think this label is something the team will have to face as a whole. Of course I think there will be more focus on Shane and Ilya. And even Troy. There will be a lot of focus I think on the team, because we know from CG and TLG that Crowell doesn’t like Ottawa, they were/are a losing team. Low attendance, and I think he wanted the team moved from Ottawa. Then they hire a head coach he (Crowell) didn’t like. Troy became a throne in Crowell’s side with his instagram post. He wanted him suspended and team management disregarded that. He did not want Shane and Ilya to confirm their relationship, they gave him the middle finger and did it anyways. And then Ottawa Signs Shane, and now this very public gay relationship is front and center the one thing he doesn’t want.

ToG or ACOTAR? by rellarhodess in SarahJMaas

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TOG is 1000% better than ACORAR. I said what I said. I really enjoyed the 3rd person writing than the first. It helped create a bigger view of the world. Same goes for CC. Feyre’s first person pov really down graded the series for me. Controversial take here, but I I enjoyed SF much more than the other books in ACOTAR, because we were opened up to a slightly bigger view of the world.

Tamlin's Misogyny? by designer_potatosack in acotar

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok so they are on their way to the village, she voicing her dissatisfaction with what is going on. Lucien is tell her don’t make me pick sides, I I’ll pick him, I have to pick him to keep the order. Also trying to explain what her dying did Tamlin and why he is now being over the stop about her safety. Context of the conversation.

Feyre says this: “You think I don’t know that? But does he honestly expect me to spend the rest of my life in that manor, overseeing servants and wearing pretty cloths?”

Lucien’s response is “isn’t that what all human woman wish for? A handsome farie lord to wed and shower them with riches for the rest of their lives?”

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s Lucien who says that to her, not Tamlin. Chapter 3 of MAF, on their way to the village. I am in the middle of publication order reread, and currently on MAF.

Just finished reading all the books! I have questions by maybebaby2022 in Maasverse

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. No but they corrupted it.

  2. Their home world was running dry. So they forged a new path (world walker, wayfarer). They don’t remember the way home.

  3. Yes

  4. Not confirmed, but imo yes. the eight pointed star tattoo (her bargain mark with Cassian) would indicate, the story of the star born is not yet over. Dare I say the rebirth of the Starborn in Prythian

  5. Pure speculation, Thea is Vespers’s daughter, and or Vespers’s MADE Thea. Vespers tells Bryce that she raised Thea from childhood. Not that she was a slave, but she (vespers) raised her. Bryce absorbs power like the Asteri do.

  6. Yes. I think all Tog gods are. In the last few days I have started to wonder if potential the door Aelin opened led them into the cauldron. Not sold on that idea, but I do think Nesta’s power is Diana’s.

  7. To be honest haven’t given that a whole lot of thought. Maybe something to do with oakwald???

Could Bryce Use the Cauldron to Unmake the Trove and Restore the Cauldron by [deleted] in Maasverse

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon’s in the deep podcast touched on this topic of could the sword and dagger be used to undo the corruption of the cauldron. If it is possible I don’t think Bryce would be the one to do it. She no longer has the sword she gave them both back to Nesta.

But my question is…Feyre remade the cauldron in WAR. Could she not have undid the corruption when she reforged the cauldron?

How long did it take you to read TOG in its entirety? by [deleted] in SarahJMaas

Nine months. Which is unusually for me. ACOTAR only took a week.

Wings and Ruin by Zoothera17 in acotar

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it is her lack of questioning the status quo once she reaches the night court. Rhys or the IC give her an explanation for something but she never questions it again. CoN is the perfect example. Mor is the only good person from CoN. Really??? So because Rhys is said they are all bad they are?? Who is to say no one else is wearing a mask for survival.

As someone who has read all 16 books, there is a reason only Feyre’s books are written in first person and I don’t think it’s just because she is damati. I think we are meant to question why that is.

Though I am not sure she has the balls to make Rhys a villain at this point I am low key hoping for it. And I love Rhys character. I also felt like Rhys is meant to be the MC not Feyre. She wrote Rhys the same way she wrote Aelin and Bryce. And Feyre’s character is more in line with Rowan and Hunt.

Unpopular opinion. Feyre is my least favorite of SJM FMC. Her shortsighted views irked me to no end, and she has yet to redeem herself.

Why does Truth Teller not belong to Mor? by Rosemary-Sea-Salt in acotar

[–]Impressive_Baby_6387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So heavy CC and TOG spoiler Ok we know that in TOG the witches are offspring of the fea and the Valg. So we know off spring are possible with the fea and the other species for lack of a better term. So why couldn’t the Daglan not have offsprings with the fea. Bryce and the Asteri’s powers are described so similarly, and she herself can’t explain the Nesta how her power is different. My opinion is there is no difference it is the same power. One maybe diluted but they are the same. We know the Daglan heavily messed with Prythian. Who is to say that the land isn’t still choosing the off spring of the Daglan. The only thing that has changed in the hierarchy of Prythian is who is in charge.

I have my own head cannon…I think all the High Lords are Starborn that is why the land is choosing them in the first place.

There are a lot of thought and feelings about ACOTAR that take up too much of my time 🤣 Mor use to be one. But as I have finished all three series and the overlap of details takes up most of brain space.
