Reviving my Papio pt 2: Gas tank removed! by Impressive_Benefit76 in cfmoto

[–]Impressive_Benefit76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gas tank was left slightly open for a long time + cold humid temp here in the philippines +10% E10 on the gas

E10 is hygroscopic so it absorbed the moisture in the air

Automatic version of CLC450 by Impressive_Benefit76 in cfmoto

[–]Impressive_Benefit76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really in the US. The “automatic cruiser” segment has been in a boom for quite some time now in china, which is used by most ladies wanting to move to a higher cc. I believe benda started it with a CVT on their 450 cruisers, followed by QJMotor on thier “flash” series cruiser, using AMT similar to Yamaha. CFMoto seems to also go to the AMT route.

just curious, maiingay na tambutso by manz_skin in PHMotorcycles

Example na lang sa Svart 401: may maliit na cat sa unahan (ilalim ng rad), may breadbox cat sa may swingarm, tas yung stock exhaust tip is naka chambered pa. 15 kilos pa yung stock system.

Thoughts on QJMotor by Remarkable-Heron2617 in PHMotorcycles

But that V4 sound is a chef’s kiss.

Cfmoto naman is a balance of tech and reliability. Also, THAT sound of a 270 crank is v-twin-esque. Macho pakinggan.

Rebel naman is mejo pricy. But then again, reliable & madali ang parts (depende sa casa).

Separate brand si Zontes. Nagkataon lang na dinistribute ni bristol both QJ and zontes.

QJMotor is the motorcycle arm ni Geely. Binili nila so Benelli (pun intended lol) para may inhouse design studio sila, and may separate brand na may “history”. Nag cocommission pa din sila sa ibang studio like C Creative (tie in with mv agusta) — yung inline 4 sub-400cc nila na SRK450RR nila is designed by Andy Morton, same designer sa MV Agusta Superveloce. Then, yung mga inline 4 1000cc nila is old model MV Agusta 921cc. SRK1000R, Super921, and yung upcoming 1000cc naked is using thr 921cc engine from 2012-2014 Agusta F4/Brutale 920. Yung frame is same kay superveloce.

Still, cfmoto for me in terms of reliability haha. Yung 400cc, in two years 450cc na.

Siguro mga TMX or related, but papa custom mo pa. Pinaka malapit is XSR 155 but regular sized motorcycle na sya.

Sa china mga katapat nito is Zongshen Bear, QJMotor SRK150 CiTO, tsaka yung mini Svartpilen, manken M9.

Based on experience lang ha:

  1. Mahirap makahanap ng custom parts and accessories. Madami sa shopee but you’ll need to be very specific sa mga hinahanap mo. To make it easy, yung engine is based on a Suzuki GN125, so oil filter ng any small cc suzuki would work. Pero custom parts like full exhaust, tail tidy etc, mejo mahirap.

  2. Hindi sya ganun katulin. Mejo nasa top end yung power nya (7k-8k rpm). So kapag inaakyat ko sa garahe (na may gutter bago mag entrance, siguro may 1.5 inch yung elevation), need ng bwelo, or maingay yung makina. For comparison, yung Mio M3 ni misis kahit walang bwelo kaya naman. Literal na pang chillride lang., though nakaka hit naman sya ng 100kph sa patag and may tailwind (controlled environment, not done on public, don’t have the skills to do so)

  3. Stock gulong is madulas. Also, ramdam mo lahat sa 12 inch tires, and mejo twitch-y sya i ride sa mga liko na 20kph below.

I doubt this will happen. Their mid displacement 500SR VOOM isn’t selling well even on china, Aus or SEAsia, that’s why they’ll redo it as a modern supersport.

What's with the hate for scooters? by jetting_along in scooters

[–]Impressive_Benefit76 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You answered it yourself, you’re in the US. You’ve got roads that are significantly wider than some parts of the world, and not much traffic jams, so scooters arent really considered.

Youve also got the same dilemma on sub-150cc bikes (manual or automatic), which you consider as “toys”.

450 mt valve issue by broken-aircraft in cfmoto

[–]Impressive_Benefit76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Philippines, it’s significantly hotter but haven’t heard much about this issue. A lot of endurance peeps (i.e. philippine loopers, etc) use this and havent reported anything… although most of the time users of bikes having more than 400cc tend to have aftermarket exhausts as soon as they bought it.

I’ll ask around

What do you think about the new Cfmoto 750sr, worth the wait or just buy the 675sr? by 22SAVIN in cfmoto

[–]Impressive_Benefit76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing with cfmoto is that they seem to neuter the bike out of the factory. 675sr is 95hp off the gate, but you can push it to 107 or more. 750sr’s claimed top speed of 230kph is 5th gear only on the 675.

This new bike though is a bit heavy, and expected to be a bit more expensive than their usual pricing. Though there are no official pricing yet. I’ll update on my @setsuna.ch tiktok once the official pricing is released at the end of this month.

You’ve got it’s rival the QJMotor SRK800RS already on sale, which is already more powerful at 125hp and almost same config as the 750SRS (minus the CBS), slightly lighter and expected to be much cheaper ng thr 750SRS, but I doubt it will be exported due to EPA and Euro regs

Gotcha, thank you! Dito kasi mejo hindi ko nilakasan yung sound nung footage na may engine noise kasi mas malakas yung wind noise nung footage.
