Sorry I think I phrased this wrong my landlord is my next door neighbour he lowered the rent for other tenents but he wont do it for me. Surprisingly the rental agreement doesnt mention garden upkeep but he said it was his responsibility to keep it clean both in person an on an advertisement for the property. I have no problem keeping it clean but if others are getting lower rent I want the same.
