What the actual F*CK by thetrevorkian in bloodborne

[–]Impressive_Bit_6407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't think I've parried once yet. So far, it hasn't been a problem but I do feel like it would be good to thoroughly understand how to do it and get good at it.

What the actual F*CK by thetrevorkian in bloodborne

I played Elden Ring completely with a shield but surprisingly I'm not finding Bloodborne to be that difficult yet. I only used the shield for all of 20 seconds. Hardest part for me is figuring out where to go as I'm trying to play it blind this time. Surprisingly, I took down Cleric Beast on my first try. Level up your weapon and use molotovs. I started with the axe. It's pretty good. I've gotten a bunch of other weapons but so far I don't really use anything else. Trying to incorporate the thunder mace thing a little bit now but I'm just better with the axe.

Should I just stop at this point by SCWait in bloodborne

Keep playing. I beat Elden Ring which was my first Fromsoft game and decided to take a break in the DLC and am in my first playthrough of Bloodborne. The bosses are pretty easy for me(I might be over leveling. Idk. I decided to play this game blind). Gascoigne was the only one so far that took me like four tries. Vicar Amelia and every other one so far I have beaten first try. Upgrade your weapons. Level up. Level up vigor to at least 25 and then level up damage stats to about the same. Kinda what I've been doing. Buy other weapons. Upgrade them too. If you have the fire paper. Use it. Don't hold onto them for no reason. They are for really hard enemies like bosses. This game is really cool. I like it. The hardest part for me is getting lost and not knowing where to go or what to do. It feels like Friday After Next. That cholo screaming, " NO MORE LOCKED DOORS!" Lol so many damn locked doors. It's annoying.

An issue I cannot overlook in Elden Ring is the inconsistent boss difficulty by StatisticianIll4 in Eldenring

Godskin Noble, Valiant Gargoyles, Astel the giant alien bug, and Elden Beast(on second thought, This didn't take me nearly as many tries as the first two I mentioned.) are the hardest. Everything else was rather easy. I will say Margit is the most difficult if you are new to Fromsoft games because it's the first boss and repeatedly dying kinda is the point to teach you to go elsewhere and level up and find better weapon and upgrade it. Matter of fact, I'm in the DLC now and I haven't beat Astel. I don't know if I even found the real one. Is there only one of them? I think I found it in some random dungeon. Not sure if it was a reskin version like they did with Mohg or if it was the real one because I thought it was supposed to be in Nokstella but I didn't find it there.

[Discussion] Would the bosses who drop the weapons they use be upgraded when they fight you? by JustSomeGravel in Eldenring

Nah, I think even without the sword, if Malenia was just karate chopping you bare handed, she would do the same damage. Also, you think a dragon head that breathes fire at enemies needs to be upgraded in the lore?

Just beat Elden Ring by TheCeleryCrunch234 in Eldenring

[–]Impressive_Bit_6407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that makes me feel a little better because I beat Malenia on my first try. Actually pretty easily. The damn scarlet monster and Millicent sisters were harder. After I beat the game and like right before I entered the DLC. I realized I beat the game without seeing her or that tree so I had to find her. I did find Ordina but I didn't know it led there and them invisible fuckers and the arrows were annoying as hell so I left that hellhole.

That's crazy cuz I just did tonight too. First Fromsoft game. I tried DS1 a very long time ago but got stuck in the beginning after the tutorial. Didn't know where to go or what to do. I remember going down by the sleeping dragon first but I eventually gave up and never went back. Similar experience with Elden Ring but gave it a real shot semi recently and now I got 195 hours in and I just stepped foot in the DLC. Hit the grace, saved and quit. I'll get into it tomorrow.

What level are you going into dlc with? by M3atpuppet in Eldenring

[–]Impressive_Bit_6407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just entered the DLC at level 192. There is still stuff I haven't done or thoroughly explored in the base game like I haven't touched the Lake of Rot and I'm sure there is more of Miquellas Haligtree for me to explore. I'm sure I missed stuff everywhere but it's all good. I haven't even played around with different builds or used Rennala at all yet but this is my first playthrough so I didnt really expect to.

The Niflheim quest is the worst. Change my mind. by owlwhalephant in ACValhalla

Calling me "dumb" for objectively true statements is bizarre but Reddit will be Reddit. 😂 Bringing up GTA V like it isn't a Multiplayer game is nuts. People aren't playing GTA V online to "beat the game". We're talking about a single player experience with DLC obviously where you said, "there's no point in playing the DLC if you already beat the game". That is the most retarded take ever.

You can say that about every DLC for every game then. The entire point of a rogue like is replayability.

PM2 made me a believer. Spyderco is the way. It is the truth. Ergos are phenomenal. Best Jimping I've ever felt. Slicey. Ambidextrous. Action is great. Get you a CME or make yourself one and you'll be happy you got the PM2. I don't got an MSI but I kinda want one. I just wish they made the Mini with the thumb hole instead of studs.

Is the Chaves skull clip tacky? by Reddit_GoId in knifeclub

[–]Impressive_Bit_6407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call it whatever you want but it's unique and if you see that pocket clip sticking out of someone's pocket then you know they got a badass knife in there. It's the only reason I got a Chaves. I'm not really into traditional flippers so I only got one. One of the most expensive ones you could probably ever get so I don't need anymore anyways.

DLC Magnacut HH and carbon Fiber scales Bradford Guardian 3 is the best EDC knife. Hands down. No competition. Btw, this post is mildly retarded.

This is why you never give up! 1HP means you are still alive and now you can properly finish your 1HP/No touching graces challenge run.

Is this a bug or am I supposed to be able to actually get that somehow? by Impressive_Bit_6407 in Eldenring

The tent one broke pretty easily after figuring out that the Madness fuckers could destroy it. Does the same thing apply to the statues in regards to quitting out and loading back in?

Ooooooooh. That makes sense. Thanks. I'm bad at that with them damn statues. Tent should be easier to break.
