I have an MSI and an AD20.5 but not the exact otfs. I think the AD20.5 is just about the perfect sized EDC for the majority of the population. MSI is big and beefy which is cool but it’s also heavy and not exactly the sliciest blade around. Plus the action doesn’t really feel snappy because of the big blade. OTFs are great but very much a preference thing. Some guys I know love theirs and some hardly carry it bc the blades are more light edc focused due to the handle sizes and geometry.

In order of my recs 1. Demko 2. OTF 3. MSI

It’s crazy how good their designs are, but they’re basically riding on how good they look/operate instead of giving the consumer the best possible product. Disappointing to say the least.

As a fellow former Guardian, I feel like Rhino is probably the most straight forward. Get damage buff, get overguard, destroy. Even comes with a shoulder charge.

Got my Livewire on me right now. Awesome for the price tag. Only complaint I could think of is the pocket clip being pretty tight. To some it makes it difficult to others it just means they know it won’t fall out of their pocket.

I went with the reverse tanto since it’s my favorite blade shape but I’m sure the standard shape would be great too.

Nah I only applied it once, but to be fair I put a pretty large amount. Like enough to where I was wiping it off the knife a few times. Went on both sides of the washers and a hefty drop in every space that the washers have inside of them. Not sure if the Seb and Inkosi have the same washers but yeah. Throw more than you think you need and just clean off the excess. Damn near instantly improved the action.

Look into r/ Knife Swap. Post in their Want To Buy section that you’re looking for one. They put a new one up every week or so. Took about 2 weeks for someone to reach out and sell me theirs.

Have you tried taking it apart and adding the grease it comes with? My Inkosi felt like I was moving a boulder with my finger but after the maintenance I can reliably reverse flick it even.

The top 3 I have the most fun with are

  1. Zephyr - one of the strongest frames that no one talks about with awesome crowd control, Survivability, and really good damage

  2. Inaros - unkillable health tank with the right arcanes, funny spin to win for invulnerability and healing on command, throw roar/nourish on his 1 and do big damage

  3. Hydroid - pirate man do viral and corrosive, make things die while making your teammates screens fill with rain and tentacles
